Is the term "content creator" still relevant?

YouTube found that “creation is commonplace” with 82 percent of people aged 18 to 44 saying they have posted some form of video content online in the last 12 months.

That's quite a wide age range, but are those 82% content creators?

“Video is now the language of the internet,” Brendan Gaha, co-founder and CEO of Creator Authority, tells WaPo. “It’s the most aspirational job for Gen Z today and the barrier to entry is so low.”

If so many of Gen Z are self identifying as content creators then is there a generational difference or has the role moved on?

What do you think?

It marks a paradigm shift from the generations of people that came before them.
