In my Case you need an Agency before Applying OBS Access, if you want OBS access try to find Tiktok Live Agency on your Region

If you only want to stream on Tiktok, you can choose between 2 options:

1. live streaming using tiktok live studio which you can get if you have 1000 followers/subscribers on tiktok or on other platforms.

2. if you want to live stream using obs studio, you can join a streaming agency first.

Do you have any further questions from here (╹ -╹)?

Thanks for the info :)

I'm streaming to Twitch and Youtube, and simply wanted to get a key I can insert into OBS, as I really dislike having to use multiple applications just to stream.

Having to have 1000 followers to go live sounds quite stupid in my opinion. I tried the tiktok live studio and they gave access to me with less than 50 followers. So I think they do whatever they want. But I'm not going to setup another application when I have OBS already and just want to use that.

Done some research and even with Streamlabs Ultra, you need to fill in an application form to be able to stream to TikTok, which they can again not accept if they please.

I will have a look at the streaming agency but by the sound of it, streaming to TikTok is more a hassle than actually being worth it.

I know how you feel about the hassle of resetting live streaming presets, but do you know the other benefits and virtual camera uses of OBS?

and I think the minimum follower policy to be able to stream is the right policy, because seeing some of the obstacles and problems if everyone can stream in all countries is the responsibility of the user to stream, and if there is no this rule then there will be people who recreate their accounts if they are banned, so it is also useless if the platform does repeated banned work

I see why they want to do it, but I think their moderation policy goes a bit over the top. As we had some discussions with other members here, TikTok removes videos with certain words in them. Words which could be completely harmless in one situation, but be offensive or dangerous in an other (for example "knife" so you can't say knife in a cooking video because knife in another setting is a tool to harm people?). They don't look at the situation, they just act, and then you have to appeal for your content to be released again.

Looks like it's completely different culture and policies than on other platforms, and I'm not sure it's the right platform for me. I'll try to upload some more of my Youtube videos there now that they accept long-form content too, and see how well they are doing, and then decide if I want to stream there or not.

I agree with your opinion about the word policy on tiktok, and to be honest it is very inconvenient for talents and creators. Especially for players of realistic games like Escape from Tarkov and Arena Breakout. This policy can be very unfriendly to game creators, so it can make creators unable to upload again, and every week there is always a creator who asks the agency to appeal the violation of the creator because of this problem (。•́︿•̀。)

if simple step advice from me to get obs access just stay with small followers, in condition of tiktok followers below 1000, but YT/Twitch subscribers more than 1000

1. sign up for tiktok live stream access here

2. live stream within 2 days every 2 hours of broadcast

3. sign up to game streamer agency to directly request obs access

I'm nowhere near those numbers on those platforms either. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to try streaming to TikTok too, so I can bring more attention to my content on other platforms too.

I know the trick of setting up virtual camera from OBS and using it in TikTok live studio, but it's an additional resource I have to use on my computer, which I don't want. I want to keep things as simple as possible and use the least amount of applications.

If you want to gain followers quickly on TikTok, maybe you can use TikTok's promotion feature on your content. i think 1$ you can get 20-50 newfollower if in my region

I currently have only 704 followers on TikTok personally so I am not sure too much about it, but it is a goal for me. Currently a YouTube partner and a Twitch affiliate and then be able to stream on TikTok as well.

if you get 500 followers, you can get streaming access on mobile devices, and if you already have more than 1000 subscribers/followers on other platforms, you can submit an application to get access to tiktok studio streaming even if your tiktok is still below 1000.

Sorry, do you understand from here?
We may have limitations in terms of language, so I apologize (っ- ‸ - ς)

For anyone who wants to give the agency route a try, I found this collection of agencies which are apparently free to join (I haven't checked them myself so can't vouch for them all, but the creator who made the list is a decent one)

Looks like you still need to be a somewhat more active creator, so probably they won't give anything to me with my planned 2 hrs a week streams, and currently I can't commit to more consistently.

But if anyone is interested to grow more seriously on TikTok, these agencies might be helpful:

If I may suggest, maybe you should look at the benefits provided by the agency, and try to question whether or not they are a gaming-specific agency. Most gaming agencies have connections to do endorsements. (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

I feel its similar to YouNow where it's mainly people just talking streams rather than anything else. However I think there is a low threshold to getting big on that platform with regular viewers. I've seen quite a few not so good streamers either just looking at the chat and reacting or just vibing with quite an active viewer-base

It's a very strange platform, things work completely different than on others which I don't know yet if it's a bad or good thing.

Most of the low quality or annoying content I come across is from TikTok, where people don't do anything meaningful. But then sometimes I see great things as well. I had a clip from a concert, posted it on Youtube, FB and Insta as well, barely any reaction. On TikTok the band's label liked it and I was shocked how did they even find me there.

So I want to give it a chance and see if it's any good for my content, just need to get through all these gatekeeping walls for streaming without having to run yet another program on my streaming laptop...

So for now I'll experiment with uploading some of my long-form content, see how well that's doing and go from there.
