Hello! I already sent Alex a list of Eve Online ones, so this is a non-Eve.

  1. Show your PC setups for $2 (this would be things like presentation, cleanness, etc)

  2. Create a just-about gaming montage image for $5 - This would be about skill with Photoshop/image creation.

  3. If you could change any game, what game and why for $2 - This would be about showing why you think your changes to the game would bring more players into the game and why the change would be positive.

  4. What game have you played for say 5+ years and why for $2 - This would be about showing why this game has kept you interested, what keeps the mind running, and why?

I have more but I'm due at the pub in 23 minutes... But that's enough to be going on with for now xD

I like that you've even included reward values for these. How did you come up with them? Is it based on difficulty, bounty submission type, expected interest etc?

EveOnlineTutorials's avatar

Mostly based on difficulty of being able to reply or submit to etc

A topic I see discussed between content creators frequently is "where do you get your copyright free music?"

Everyone has their favorite resource for music, images, sound effects etc. So to expand this for a bounty:

Where do you get your copyright free assets, and what are the benefits of the resources you use?

Boomer's avatar

That's be a really helpful thing to know! No doubt creators here will have different resources they prefer, and maybe some new creators are just starting to look.

For content creators, anything that will help others with practical advice on what has worked for others to help their online presence grow, or vice-versa, mistakes that content creators have made, and what results fixing them has yielded. Specifically, I think rewarding the most practical and proactive advice that can be executed on will be the best solution. Content creators, especially more established ones like me who have been at it for ages and don't know where else to go, have a huge issue finding anything remaining in terms of practical help. So instead of something as simple and boring we all heard too many times like "just do what you enjoy" or "make clickable titles", something a lot more in-depth that is actually of any help.

That's an interesting one. You're right that a lot of suggestions are pretty basic, and either rely on grinding out content, picking out whatever the latest trend is, or to just be lucky.

If this becomes a bounty then I'll have to share findings from my university research project a few years back. It talked about this exact thing 😄

  1. What was your first hardware setup for streaming / editing?: we have seen some great gadgets and must have budget items but I think it would be great to see what did people start out with, it might give courage to those who are scared to start the creator journey because they think they don't have a good enough PC for it.

  2. If you could do a collab with any famous creator who would it be and what would you like to do?: kind of following up on the Who is your content creator hero bounty, it would be a nice occasion to show your dreams as a creator and who knows, your hero might be watching and likes the idea?

  3. How to make a dual PC streaming setup?: this idea popped into my mind as I'm trying to put one together at the moment and it wasn't easy to find a guide for it which actually works and is easy to follow, so would be great to have one here with our other amazing guides from the community.

Bounty Idea: Design Your Dream Streaming/Gaming Setup for Under $1000

For many aspiring content creators and gamers, building an optimal gaming and streaming setup is crucial but often constrained by budget. This challenge invites participants (in this case, experienced creators) to create and share a detailed plan for a dream gaming and streaming setup with a budget cap of $1000. Submissions should include specific hardware choices (PC components, consoles, peripherals), software solutions (streaming tools, editing software), and even aesthetic touches (lighting, furniture) that fit within this budget.

Details:

  • Participants must itemize their chosen components and software, explaining why each element is essential for their dream setup.

  • Creativity in budget allocation is key. For example, prioritizing a powerful GPU over other components, or choosing cost-effective software solutions.

  • Submissions should include a brief explanation of how this setup enhances their gaming and streaming experience.

  • Bonus points for innovative solutions to common setup challenges like limited space or the need for mobility.

Goal:

This challenge aims to inspire both established and aspiring content creators by showing how an effective and personalized gaming/streaming setup can be achieved on a budget. It also encourages participants to think critically about their needs versus wants in a setup.

The Bounty I would suggest which would be useful for content creators would be -

"Detail 5 things you have learned NOT to do as a new YouTuber / Streamer / Writer (this could just be simplified to content creator) to successfully grow your audience / community?"

I've picked this as I've learned the hard way its really just as important to know what not to do so you don't waste your time which could be better spent!
