The Diablo 4 release date is under a month away, and there’s just enough time to re-think your pre-order plans if you’ve decided to bag a different collection of goodies.
A big draw of those pricier editions is, of course, early access to the game.
There are four days of pre-release access up for grabs if your pockets are deep enough, although Blizzard launch veterans might be forgiven for wondering just how much of that server time they’ll actually get to enjoy.
In this guide you’ll find details of exactly what’s included in every pre-order bundle, along with a handy chart of expected launch times for Diablo 4, whichever version you choose.
Standard Edition
As the name suggests, the Standard Edition doesn’t really offer much in the way of bells and whistles.
You do get a few extra bits and bobs for your Blizzard account, but if all you really care about is the game - without early access - then this is the one to go for.
Diablo 4
Diablo Immortal Cosmetic Set: Umber Winged Darkness
Amalgam of Rage (WOW mount)
Diablo 3 Inarius Wings and Inarius Murloc Pet
The RRP of the Standard Edition is $70 / £69.99.
Deluxe Edition
For a little extra money, the Deluxe Edition may well offer enough to tempt you into an upgrade.
Significantly, this is your first opportunity to unlock the 'up to 4 days' of early access, letting you get into the game before everyone else.
If you’re going to be into Diablo 4 for the long haul, the addition of the first Season Pass may also be enough to tip you over the edge.
Here’s what comes as part of the package:
Diablo 4
Temptation (Diablo 4 mount)
Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor
Diablo 4 Season Pass
Up to 4 days of early access
Diablo Immortal Cosmetic Set: Umber Winged Darkness
Amalgam of Rage (WOW mount)
Diablo 3 Inarius Wings and Inarius Murloc Pet
The RRP of the Deluxe Edition is $90 / £89.99.
Ultimate Edition
This is where the pricing starts to get a little serious (or silly, depending on your perspective).
The headline stuff here is an extra emote, along with a collection of tier skip tokens for the Season Pass.
Diablo 4
Temptation (Diablo 4 mount)
Wings of the Creator Emote (Diablo 4)
Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor
Diablo 4 Season Pass
Diablo 4 Season Pass 20 tier skips
Up to 4 days of early access
Diablo Immortal Cosmetic Set: Umber Winged Darkness
Amalgam of Rage (WOW mount)
Diablo 3 Inarius Wings and Inarius Murloc Pet
The RRP of the Deluxe Edition is $100 / £99.99.
Collector’s Edition
If your eyes aren’t already watering by now, you might like to consider the Diablo 4 Collector’s Edition.
As well as all of the items listed in the Ultimate Edition, you also get the following:
Candle of Creation
Cloth Map of Sanctuary
Diablo 4 Collector’s Edition Art Book
Occult Mousepad
Pin of the Horadrim
Matted Fine Art Prints
The game doesn’t actually come as part of the Collector’s Edition though!
Instead, you’ll need to request your preferred version of the game when you place your order, directly from the Blizzard Store.
As for buying it from the store, you might find this tricky now as this limited edition set went on sale back in December 2022.
Launch Dates & Times
What if you don’t pre-order the Deluxe Edition or above? When will you be able to start playing Diablo 4?
Fortunately, Blizzard has confirmed the global launch times for us.

Now, if you’ve played many Blizzard games in the past you’ll know to temper your expectations when it comes to actually logging in at launch.
We only have to look back as recently as Overwatch 2 to know that the servers can potentially buckle for days.
Hopefully though, the recent Server Slam test has helped them prepare for launch a little better when it comes to Diablo 4.
Early Access Release Times
Let’s be really optimistic and assume everything’s fine with the Blizzard server hamsters.
You’ll get up to four days of head start time, starting:
Location | Date | Time |
---|---|---|
Pacific NA | 1st June | 16:00 |
Mountain NA | 1st June | 17:00 |

Auckland | 2nd June | 11:00 |
Remember, it’s marketed as "up to four days" early access, and "up to" is doing quite a lot of heavy lifting for Blizzard there.
We can only hope for the best though, right?
