The Dragon's Dogma 2 moments that we should all be talking about are the meat-frying at the campfire scenes. What's going on with that? Is it real meat-sizzling footage or great graphics? Do you love it or hate it? Does it make you hungry? Does it weird you out? Why is it so zoomed in? I kind of love it, but if I was a vegetarian, I'm not certain I'd feel the same way.

Believe it or not, it's real meat! The devs confirmed they went out and bought a bunch of prime quality cuts then cooked them rather than creating the animations from scratch. Living in the universe of DD2 would suck, but could it be worth it for meat that looks that good...? I'm not saying no.
Also, this raises a bigger question: is Dragon's Dogma 2 technically an FMV game?!
My partner and I stare at it every time it pops up...we just couldn't tell!

It's so beautifully shot that it feels like it can't be real, but it is! It's such a nice feature of the game. I love it when games really put care into how they present cooking, like Final Fantasy XV as well
