Is it just me, or has the DD2 community disappeared from the left menu? I could only get here through search results.

We've taken it out the nav (for now, at least) as there's been a big drop-off in activity, and particularly member-initiated posts, over the past few weeks (but the community and content itself isn't going away).
The short-term plan is for something (or potentially more than one something...) to take its place before long.
The more sweeping overhaul we're working on currently is how we present spaces, communities, and topics to our members in a way that lets them see everything they're interested in (and filter out what they're not), while also providing the scope for us to cover a far wider variety of subjects across all the interest 'verticals'.
We're still in the wireframing stage but it's hopefully going to be a meaningful change and a big improvement.
I'm hoping you can convince some never ending live service games/ their publishers to come on board one day. Fortnite, ffxiv, WOW, sea of thieves, Apex legends, cod.
It's the perfect platform for that sort of stuff like EVE has shown. It's always going to be tricky for a long term full on community for single player story games rather than emergent gameplay, make your own story style multiplayer/live service stuff.
