raxxla was reportedly a gateway to another galaxy, if it is found, it'll be ruins like the guardian sites, it never has been confirmed or denied, it was the product of an off handed remark, (while imbibing ) by a lets say, candid executive officer, who, "can't remember saying that",
having said that, it was left run, a good spin "for the more imaginative" player, in line with fdev's mystery and intrigue line of thinking, (like no specific instructions or explanations on gameplay,)
but people will always chase rumours and innuendo, with no substance or validation, it's a game after all, good luck, "blaze your own trail"
