The race is very simple. Start with you ship on the pad (facing the mailslot) at the Darkes High starport in Epsilon Eridani. When you're ready take off and head for the Barcelo Penal Colony on Mitterand Hollow ("the moon that lands on you") in the neighbouring Epsilon Indi system. Land within 1km of the penal colony and then take off again and head back to the Epsilon Indi system. Land at the Galiano Depot planetary outpost to finish. Your start time is the time shown on the HUD just before take off from Darkes High and your finish time is the time shown on the HUD immediately after landing at Galiano Depot.

To have your run timed automatically and get your name on the global leaderboard shown at the end you need to install the EDCoPilot virtual cockpit assistant (https://www.razzafrag.com/) and then pick the "Mitterand Hollow Landing Challenge" from the Time Trials list which can be accessed via the Places tab.

Hello there Commanders! I hope you are all well in this wonderful 2025;

When odi released, me and some friends dearly missed pomeche 2c and canyons in general, so I went on to scour the galaxy for some proper racing planet where i can blast some good punk and let that dirty drives scream baby. My favourite spot is without doubt the system: HR 5457, planet 3D. I remember my jaw dropping upon seeing the steep canyons and passages: its a blast to just casually fly at 800 plus meters per second in these ravines.

My friends and I had so many laps in the racetrack below and hopefully someone else will enjoy it too. when building it I had only two rules: it had to be fun and it had to be easy to find (as some friends of mine have a love/hate relationship with planet coordinates).

This is Mccabe racetrack:
For starters just head to McCabe Prospecting Territory (please fdev give us checkpoints creator and laptimes )

General safety guidelines:

1-Start line is between cucumber mountain and the settlement (you cant miss it).

2-Also make sure your hardpoints are not deployed (settlement security will shoot first ask later).

3-keep altitude below 500m for maximum danger My very personal review:

Difficulty:4/10 very simple with a small ship, but once you get the speed going you will have to time your boosts perfectly at the second and third turn. Incredible fun if you manage to do 10 or so laps with a group of cmdrs with one referee at the start.

Scenery: 6/10 pretty good sights when sunny! its an odissey rocky planet with beautiful sky.

Location: 8/10 its in the bubble, its a scoopable M star and it has many hours of daylight.

let me know if you liked it !

THE YELLOW TRACK

I've found a perfect canyon for a race track, the best part that it is easy to identify the course of the track, so the chances of any pilot loosing themselves is low.

The moon is the 19-Phi 2 Ceti A3 3 A A, and in the coordinate -32.1907°; -169.9713° it will have the start of the rack, a hill where the yellow spot start, so when you launch your ship you will see exactly the track, a canyon with a strong yellow floor, resembling the marks of a car race track. Just take care in the first left turn because the canyon isn't so high and the yellow spot spread all over the ground, in my first run I've lost my self, after that the canyon walls will guide you.

And after the track and some up and downs across the track you will get out of the canyon and face a hill after pass though that hill in the end you will have finished your track! The coordinates of the hill are -36.2098°; -169.7357°.

If you want to you could visit other parts of this moon and search for similar tracks, I have seen some similar canyons with yellow floor, but this one was my favourite, a good amount of length and easy specially for the pilots that are starting!

The mysterious and reclusive racing group, The Black Tulip, number only a handful of pilots. These few truly exceptional CMDRs are focus of the idle rich. These pilots make billions of credits off their wins, and billions more from unsavoury errands their patrons can sometimes offer. After all, only the best of the best can make an impossible task possible....

Induction into this group is by their request only, and my skills have finally brought their attention upon me. A Black Tulip messenger visited me in my Fleet Carrier stateroom. He uttered no words, just handed me an invitation - to join them. Little did I know, to trial for the Black Tulip was to live or die!

Hello Commander, today I present:

The challenge for racers who aren't afraid of the dark.

Something different, since I've seen a lot of ground-based races, perhaps something in space is more dangerous, and the inertia of the ships is a factor.

System: Col 285 Sector WV-S b18-7

Start: Goodman Vision

End: Boss City

Ship used: Cobra Mk IV

Deep within the Col 285 Sector WV-S b18-7 system, far from normal traffic, lies a secret route between two industrial giants: Goodman Vision and Boss City.

This isn't a course for everyone. The system is dark, unfrequented, and known for its dense and dangerous atmosphere. Those who dare to enter here do so seeking more than just speed: they seek a real challenge.

The Race

The route begins inside the majestic Goodman Vision station, a government structure filled with passageways and restricted areas. From takeoff, the pilot must traverse its structural interiors, where speed is measured in reflexes, not kilometers per hour.

Then, the pilot continues through a maze of connected installations, suspended structures, and external modules. No meteorites or open space: everything is close, everything demands precision, like a chase inside a living space city.

The journey ends at Boss City, a medium-sized industrial station with constant traffic and active platforms. The final touch is a precision landing in an area saturated with activity, where the slightest mistake can cost you victory or your ship.

This is a classic figure-8 shaped spaceship racing circuit called the Infinity Loop Circuit.

This system is unique in that its atmosphere makes it darker (even when the star is at the top), making night racing more interesting.

The circuit is simple around the Morais Mining Installation (name given so far by the architect) in the Col 285 Sector DC-J b23-0 system.

I made run in Mandalay but it is possible to make it with several ships as it is quite spacious.

I did a test run to show what the circuit is like.

I found this track while engineering the Cobra Mk3.

It's located in the Muang System, Planet 5A. At the end of the video, I show the system map.

The track's coordinates are -58.2797 -86.2018, very close to Engineer Broo Tarquin.

The track is shaped like a figure "8" (as shown in the image).

The middle path is the most difficult because it's narrow. The second time I went through it, I hit the wall on the right (I show this in the video).

I explain more details about the track in the video.
