This is really cool. Reminds me of that prison in Batman or the short story Wool for some reason.

I can't believe you used that photo XD

This probably does not fit the requirements, so let me know what I need to do to fix it. I don't own any nice image programs beyond Microsoft Word and MS Paint.

Some call it a pipe dream but I still believe one day Full atmospheric planets will be land-able... even ones that are covered in nothing but water! Like this secluded tourist city nestled on the planet Neo Columbus.

Hope you like it!

Side note - If you noticed the ship in the photos that is not from Elite: It was a concept ship I made years ago called the Honey Badger, a ship that is survival oriented; Highly maneuverable with strong shields and hull, and the ability to slowly self heal and clear caustics, but with very low offensive capability. I made it long before Just About had the "Make your own ship" bounty and I completely missed that contest after not being on during that time :( so you know I had to throw it in there!

Exavolt Station

A futuristic modular experimental outpost built on telescopic pylons that adapt to unstable ground. Its hexagonal towers are made of heavy metallop with panels to collect energy. It serves as a mining outpost whose extraction is destined for the black market or the production of experimental prototypes. And perhaps also a refuge for pirates.

I made every designer in the picsart app on my ipad because my laptop gave a problem and didn't turn on anymore😭 I'm also enjoying drawing I'm starting and I'm not a professional😂 This settlement is the size for large landing platforms, I inspired more in the original settlements of elite dangerous but with some changes and I added a cool designer maintaining the game pattern without something exaggerated outside the reality of the game, this station contains a type of concrete street that connects all the constructions that are made of orange metals with black or gray details and ceiling Of glass, something very futuristic but keeping the reality, concrete streets for the VRS I tried to add a type of parking lot but I don't know if it would be useful but it's there. the station would be something really big with research rooms, habitats, corridors and medicine room, warehouse room and etc. I like the orange stations but I would love that the roofs of the buildings were totally glass something very futuristic I add a glass dome wrapped but it wasn't cool because I thought "how will the ship land in the settlement?🙄" So I left it only with a distance limiter from the settlement.😁👍🏻

I

My idea of a new settlement is to have an underground element for Elite. it would serve to be a more subtle and stealthy way to create a massive base of operations and/or create a disguise for other menacing operations he he he...

as you can see, massive airfield concept for landing area that has a wall around it for added security as some of cmdrs create mayhem... each pad designated by size, a hub entrance that acts as a tsa check for incoming and outgoing personnel. customs building as a final check for contraband or illegal commodities on foot. a security office for patrol ops and other security related operations to base out of. Hub operations is where, if ever raided, would be full of intel on a power or sector and has from uncommon to very rare items for players to steal that run for lots of credits. Power plant for power. obviously. housing is barracks style and can house up to 120 personnel per building. the other landing area is for "TSA VERIFIED" cargo haulers if you will that have a high reputation with the faction in control... also in future would be a way to gain access to an AO if smuggling or raiding and dont want to park in the space field.

FInally we have the space eelevator.. imagine it could take down with it small ships and give way to a vast network of underground building and research areas. living quarters and even mining operations. one hub could do it all but of course would massively be expensive and take a whole squadron to build.

I know i dont have an animated version. im pretty broke so best i can do is paper. XD

Hope you enjoy the sketch and explanation! Thank You!!

Remote Small R&D Outpost

This is a remote research and development complex designed to carry out scientific experiments far from someone's eyes. Built into a quiet spot on a barren planet, the outpost provides everything needed to support long-term studies and engineering work in isolation.

The outpost features:

  • A main research building for core scientific operations.

  • An underground bunker for secure data storage and sensitive experiments.

  • A large satellite dish for deep-space communication.

  • A landing pad for visiting ships and supply runs.

  • An engineering section for building and testing new tech.

Several silos used to store materials, components, and research samples.

P.S. In case you're wondering - that's my concept ship parked on the landing pad. It's a heavily scaled-down version of the Lucidor, designed for EVE Online.

Start your engines folks!! It's time for SRV Settlement Racing!!!

A tourist Settlement where commanders can come together and race their SRV around the course!!

Racers must pass through all ten gates before crossing the finished line where adoring fans eagerly look on through the large second floor Pub balcony window.

The course consists of five major parts.

Two statues of fer de lances on either side of the track boost their engines to signify the start of the race. The track is 3 - 5 lanes with however many racers frontier thinks is best.

1. A straightaway to begin

2. Followed by a series of turns

3. Leading to an uphill climb that sends racers down a winding path on a road that's slightly tilted leaving racers at an angle on the way to the bottom.

4. Next is a tunnel with a ramp on either side of the opening. Racers can go through or head up the the next level where there's one ramp to the top floor, or they can go through the second floor tunnel. Racers who choose the tunnels will have to go uphill where racers who climbed to the top can hit a ramp to forego the hill altogether and gain speed on the way down.

5. Lastly, all racers speed downhill where they hit a final large ramp that sends them through the air passing in front of cheering spectators at the pub.

When a winner crosses the finish line a bright beam of light and fireworks shoot out of the large triangle gate 11.

Spectators not at the bar can enjoy the show from the other side of the track in the hub where merch is sold.

One larger storage area for racers SRVs and a smaller area for where they go to get repairs.
