Welcome to our weekly Elite Dangerous combat contest: Kill of the Week. To win a prize, send us video footage of the best kill you made this week! 'Best' is subjective - it could be prettiest, biggest, most epic, or most surprising. That said, we're looking for high-skill kill videos; both PvP or PvE is acceptable (but you'd better show some real skill in the latter). We'll judge each kill on its own merits.

Include at least a couple of sentences to contextualise your kill, for example, tell us who you were fighting and what led up to the showdown. Ideally, the kills would have transpired over the last week, but we won't disqualify you if they're a little older. If your video is over five minutes long, it may be disqualified if you don't timestamp or otherwise indicate the moment of the kill.
