With this kind of dramatic phrasing, Empyreal's premise would make a great movie trailer. And that's where you step in!
For this reward, imagine that your playthrough of Empyreal is a movie, and use your gameplay footage to make the trailer. Your trailer must:
Be at least 60 seconds long;
Use only your own original gameplay footage from Empyreal;
Make lots of edits and cuts, with a cinematic flair, to evoke atmosphere and action in the same way that movie trailers do. We will reject submissions that 60 seconds of unedited game footage in a single take.
Include your own original writing to hint at a story, again in the style of a movie trailer. You can go all the way and record your own gravelly-voiced narration or just use subtitles, and you're free to decide what the story is: you can tease the game's main plot, one of its side quests, or make up your own story using Empyreal's setting!
As always we reserve the right to reject low-effort or low-quality submissions, and please note that we will apply a high quality bar on this one given the scale of the prize.
