I think it would be great if the curated threads could sit under their own standalone menubar category within the community. With this adjustment, it would give you an overview of the community bounty winners - almost like a "tldr" bounty newsfeed of the top activity of the community.
Currently they get kind of lost within the different threads.

The "Explore" page (coming soon) will be an aggregation of all community articles/videos (but not discussions). I think exactly as you describe!
