Twitch Drops - Thoughts?

So the first test is in the books! How did it go? Friday saw some hick-ups, but to be expected for a test launch. My understanding is that the CCP Live2Feed broadcast will reoffer the Sunesis SKIN this coming Friday Aug 25th to allow folks that may of missed it due to last week's issues.

I'd be curious to hear from CCP regarding metrics for AT viewership w/Drops and how they compare to past years.

Since it is mostly creators here so far, how many of you heard mentions of Drops from your viewers or users?

Jokes aside - I am really curious to see how this will pan out. I am not a "streamer", but I do stream, and so am hoping that I will have the ability to benefit from this as this will likely give my "core content" (NPSI. ROCKS) exposure and by association may increase peoples awareness of this gameplay style - specifically if they are new to EVE.

As a streamer, I am excited to see Twitch drops. I believe it will encourage more users to visit the EVE category on the platform and thus convert more of them to established members of our community.

A lot of my viewers are excited for drops as well, since they'll be getting an additional reward for hanging out on Twitch

I will just say that it was about time for them to offer Twitch drops the rewards are a bit meh but hopefully they get better as time goes by, maybe adding Streamcast skins for other hulls that are not availble through the point exchange on CCP's channel.
