This is my curse, my burden when it is about resturants.
Why should i pay for the cooking, if the cook has all the fun in the kitchen without me.

This is stuff i have visisted, chatted with the cook and is approved by myself.
It gets really hard to find good places, the amount of tourist traps is high.
First place is for everybody who loves good chicken wings and burgers. The attached bakery is just the cherry on top. This place is quite big and you shouldn´t have problems to find a place.
If its about "traditional" icelandic food, here you go. Soup, bread, Fish, Stew a small menu is always a good sign. This place is in the evening heavly crowded and it is kind of "small"

They have a nice standard of cooking and a higher service than the places above. But you need to carfully choose which dish you want to have since they have good ones and bad ones.

And these are the biggest Fail so far...
A lot of stuff is not on the listed because either it closed down or i didn´t hook me in the frist place.
Never buy a Hotdog from the "famous" pylsur, the red one in the main city. Check the trashbins around and you know why.
IF you really need to try it out you get all the Stuff they have in every supermarket as a DYI kit. But honestly this is dogshit.
They premade the Bruschetta in the morning amd stored it in the cooler and served it cold. Service here is just a NPC
If you like expensive frozen deep fried food, here you go.
Frozen Frozen Frozen. My bred was still frozen in the middle. This should say enough about what you get here.
