If you’re getting your Mamba and Mekubal blueprints via the official route, you’ll have to follow a breadcrumb tail almost as long as our big mystery bounty. EVE’s two new destroyers are unsurprisingly rather pricey right now, but for those of you who have followed the requisite steps and splashed out, our community members have recommended some fits that maximise their potential.
Mamba drone and missile fit
The Guristas Mamba is a natural fit for drone warfare thanks to its impressive 300% bonus to light combat drone damage and hit points. JAKEL33T has capitalised on this with five damage-dealing Hobgoblins alongside five Hornets for shield. Mamba shield and missile fit
For their bounty submission, FUN INC also opted for a shield-and-missile-based build - ideal for the Mamba. Staying true to the Guristas’ signature approach, the Mamba has a few drone-based tricks up its sleeve that the State’s missile destroyers lack. funinc’s build includes Acolytes and Warriors alongside Hobgoblins and Hornets to maximise its effectiveness against different opponents.

Mekubal shield and artillery fit
While the Mamba is no ugly duckling, the new Angel Cartel destroyer, the Mekubal, is one of the coolest ship designs to date. Speed is the name of the game for the Mekubal, which features intrinsic bonuses to warp speed and warp acceleration alongside small projectile turrets. As another shield-centric ship, FUN INC fits his Mekubal with a Republic Fleet Medium Shield Extender and loads it up to max with Howitzers.
