In this case

It's North Vs South, it's always the same major fights going on.

Parties involved:

Panfam (Pandemic Horde + Allies)
Imperium (Goonswarm + Allies)

Panfam smacks Imperium around

Imperium returns the favour

Both sides stoke the tension

Then a "strategic system" comes under attack from either Panfam or Imperium alliance

A huge battle lasting around a few days kicks off, which then deteriorates into minor skirmishes around said system which can then kick off another major fight.

It's one of the consistent things in Eve Online, is the massive hatred between Imperium and Panfam.

It's one of the things we tell new players, if you want to get into PvP quickly on a huge scale, join one of those sides and get going.

Well, well, well, what’s happening in EVE Online? Let’s crack open DOTLAN and take a look at the activity in nullsec for August!

Exhibit 1: A significant - and dare I say, very aggressive- expansion by Goonswarm Federation, specifically into the Tenerifis region. It seems the Imperium has decided to extend its reach into what were previously neutral territories.

This move is unmistakable when we compare political maps from August 1, 2024, to August 13, 2024. The difference is striking, showing a clear push by Goonswarm into areas that were once under the control of smaller alliances.

Exhibit 2: Political maps from Daily Sov Maps | Sov.Space

01.08.2024

14.08.2024

What’s particularly interesting is that while Goonswarm’s core forces are pressing into these smaller territories and playing in the Cache region, PandaFam has executed an impressive strike deep into their enemy's supply lines in Delve. But that’s a story for another time, which I’ll cover in my upcoming combat reports!

Fly safe and stay tuned!

Let's talk about C5 & C6 Wormhole Space from the perspective of a line member.

Lazerhawks gave us and many other Wormholers the agreement to not shoot any structures in uncontested C5  Wormholes. Under this agreement you can grow and build up.
Since the agreement is “Ingame” the only worth it has is trust.

With great power comes great responsibility

Under the SNYDE War we took position to open up C6 space since its look down ever since.
Hawks offered many other Alliance C6 Space if you don't help Synde in the War, but also don't evict us if you continue to help in the war effort. (Content is Content)

After the war,  things settled down very fast and WE started to move out inactive Corps from C5 Space to acquire more Farm Holes.  (Since the High-Class Marauder Nerf, you need to adjust amd also we were growing in Members quite fast)

So with our 2nd Farmhole stuff went south really fast.
Hawks said they have no control over their Members, so they can´t keep up the agreement.
There Members shot our FORT in an uncontested C5, which is under Agreement not eligible.
Hawk responded with, uh jeah we have no control over them bla blub.

...if you want to test a man’s character, give him power

Anyway everybody has intel… Somehow three groups affiliated with Hawks and Hawks themself rage rolled to the anchoring Fort in the newly acquired C5.
Which under Agreements is untouchable.

You can lie, but don't be afraid if you get caught with it.
-> Hawk responded with, uh jeah we have no control over them bla blub.

So the current state of WH space is following:

C1-C4 No real ISK here, do what ever you want todo.

C5 Only Hawks & there Friends
C6 Only Hawks & there Friends

For C5 and C6 expect to get evicted once you get big enough.
Remember folks all your shiny stuff will drop in WH Space.

Wormhole fight is time consuming due the current mechanics and everything is limited.

Perspective from Hawks:

First reports are coming in from Reddit about users receiving their EVE Online 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition boxes from a very limited run, and excitement is through the roof (no, not really, it’s a toxic reddit)! The buzz!

https://reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/1es851l/20_years_in_space

The Collector’s Edition box is a treasure trove for any EVE enthusiast, containing a variety of exclusive items, both physical and digital! The digital bonuses are just as sweet, featuring an exclusive Megathron SKIN by T'Amber, along with two more unique SKINs, a set of Genolution Implants, five SOCT ships, and a Metamorphosis BPC with a run of 3. So expect a market shifts for these positions hehe

For many, including myself, the most desired item is the Fedo Plushie. Unfortunately, the set has already sold out, and I can't help but regret not ordering it sooner. It’s a bittersweet feeling - missing out on such a unique collection for a game that has brought so much joy over the years. If you managed to snag one, consider yourself very lucky!

For those of us who missed out, perhaps we'll get another chance in the future -or maybe just be prepared to pay a premium on the secondary market!

Lovely post, but not quite what we were looking for here. We were after posts about the politics and wars of New Eden rather than the politics and wars of Reddit, though granted they're just as bloody and ruthless :D

Alex Sinclair Well, it has a real in-game impact and drama. I've even heard whispers that T'Amber Megas might be the next 'Burn Jita' riots star.

Great spot, Limal - definitely adding this to my news lineup!
