Want to get rich quickly? Here’s the dirty secret – you can, if you sell your soul!

Seriously; one mistake that people make in EVE Online is when they hear someone bragging about how much money they’ve made in a single hour, they forget that raking in that kind of cash takes significant investment in both time and money. The kind of wealth that would buy capital ships (or PLEX at this rate) takes time, ISK, investment, knowhow, skill, and maybe a little luck, all combined into one. It especially takes consistency and diversity.

Likewise, the term ‘quickly’ is relative to the individual, depending on how desperate and driven they are for ISK.

If one wants to truly get rich in EVE, it’s a good idea to diversify one’s portfolio, and treat it seriously. This means having multiple streams of income, such as missions, salvaging, planetary infrastructure, mining skills, and the pursuit of some kind of activity that can not only keep you engaged, but also reward you for your time and effort on a relatively consistent basis.

Sure, you might find a billion-ISK item while traversing a wormhole, but if you find that item once a month (or longer), that kind of ISK might run out before you know what to do with it. And if that becomes your only activity and doesn’t yield consistent profit, you’re going to end up driven to pursue some other path.

Sure, you could descend into the dark rabbit hole of scamming people in trade hubs, but will you be able to sleep at night? Will you be proud of yourself and your ill-gotten gains?

One component of EVE is the balance of time-to-profit and risk-versus-reward; high-risk means high-reward; lengthy investment and improved skills typically yield greater profit, or at least raises your chances of higher profit.

If one is just starting out, mining, missions, and selling the salvage from both are good starter pursuits, which can generate a good income as you improve your skills and performance.

Longtime veterans might run more advanced missions, Incursions, Agency events, or PVP and sell the dropped high-yield gear.

Personally? I fly Incursions, but I’ve also been flying Incursions since 2013 almost non-stop; I’ve made investments to prepare for and pursue Incursions no matter where they strike in the cluster. And I am rewarded handsomely for my time.

Well I don’t know about the others but for me a plan to get rich fast in eve online and the “legal“ way 😁 is back stabbing a corporation and stealing it’s bank , you just need to gain their trust, make your way up the ladder of leadership get access to the bank usually found in a high sec or sometimes in a wormhole space, you need an alt character to play the double agent with it, pass all those juicy loot well deserved 😎, some will say it takes time well with a charm and then when you get the prize all that time spent bonding with others will come to fruition, many crazy stories out there and the ISK per hour is out of this world too !!

I think the easiest way is to buy items that are garbage, spend years without logging in and wait for them to become valuable haha. Joking aside, I believe that exploring in low/null sec and wormholes is the best for alphas, as some runs yield hundreds of millions of ISK.

Choose a T1 exploration frigate, it's the best, and make sure you have a probe launcher, data and relic analyzer module (for omega players, I've seen a lot of recommendations to use an Astero for greater safety).

It's a risky activity, of course, but the greater the risk, the greater your return too, which is why starting out in HS is very important for getting to grips with the game, LS is already more punishing, NS and WH then... I like to be pessimistic and always believe that someone is targeting me, being cautious is never a bad thing. Start little by little and familiarize yourself, I think that's the best way.

Anyone who tells you how to get rich easily, be afraid, it probably won't be that easy! That goes for EVE too. There are some good ways to increase your stock of ISK, but they all involve effort, investment, strategy and even luck, okay?

My favorite way to make money in the game is through trading. Especially items made available at events (ships, projects or other items), where demand is high and consequently so is the price. So taking advantage of update periods and the start of events in the game turns out to be one of the most profitable ways possible, but as I said before, it requires dedication to farming the items.

When there isn't an attractive event going on, the most lucrative way of making money in the game for me is by exploring for relics in Null-sec. Obviously, this requires a late-game account for survival reasons. Metallic gas and supersonic ice are also great options for highly valued materials. As well as hunting missions such as EDENCOM's field bases. These options involve a great deal of risk and therefore require you to be an experienced player, ok?

For those who like action (which is also my case when I have time to play), piracy and ransom missions can be a good addition to your assets. For this style, it's important to define the group well so that the method is as profitable as possible.

I've talked about methods that involve effort and strategy, haven't I? And investment? This is the easiest way to accumulate ISK. Buy PLEX (real game money). It sounds like a joke, but it really is the best way to make a profit, and what's more, it can help you with the other forms of profitability I've mentioned!

Might be a bit dirty, but taking advantage of in-game events and popular fits is a great way of flipping assets for personal gain.

With a little bit of timing, luck and a little bit of help from friends, you can corner a market at the very beginning of a new event and reap riches.

With the recent Drifter event, many of the sites require you to either cap transfer and have armor logistics on grid to successfully run the event. The perfect ship to use is the Augoror, which at the time there was very few on the market (especially in Amarr). I bought up all of the ships and relisted them for 3x their price. Over the course of an evening, many of my overpriced ships were sold and I have made a decent profit with many ships left to sell.

Here is a spreadsheet showing how much I have made since I started this!
