EVE Online ASMR is the relaxing wind-down you never knew you needed. Put your feet up and let the sounds of New Eden help you drift off to sleep (with not a Drifter in sight). Each of the eight great EVE ASMR videos below has been created by one of our community members, all of whom are expert EVE players and/or content creators. We were impressed and decided to curate them for your listening pleasure.
JAKEL33T’s Eve Online - Venture Mining Ambiance - ASMR
JAKEL33T rose to the challenge with aplomb, creating not one but two different EVE Online ASMR videos. In the first, he takes his Venture on a mining adventure. It’s simple, minimalistic, but effective:
JAKEL33T’s Eve Online - Jita 4-4 Ambiance - ASMR
It’s their second video that takes the space biscuit though. Jake landed his ship in Jita, and let the sound of the station do the rest. Expect echoing announcements, the distant thud of metal on metal, and the sounds of ships arriving and departing from New Eden’s foremost marketing hub:
Kane Carnifex’s EVE Online ASMR MIX Autopilot & Memorial
“Warping to stargate.” Kane Carnifex's video kicks off with Aura’s lilting commands and the sound of his engines in warp. But it really comes into its own at 2.57, when Kane arrives at the Fallen Capsuleers’ Memorial. Close your eyes, and the pulsing orb could easily be mistaken for the rumble of the Icelandic ocean.
NthDimensional’s The Start of Something Good
Like Kane, Nth Dimensional starts with his ship in warp. In the space of just two minutes, they then take us on an auditory adventure, featuring deep warbling, UI beep boops, and moments of quiet that’ll keep you guessing.
Sturmer’s ASMR: Endless Space Engine Rhythms | EVE Online
While Kane Carnifex and NthDimensional’s videos are short and sweet, Sturmer went all in with a six-and-a-half-hour-long video of his Redeemer drifting through the cosmos.
“Let the calming hum of spaceship engines transport you to the vastness of the universe of EVE Online. Close your eyes and feel the steady pulse of the Redeemer as it sails through the stars. This extended version is perfect for relaxation, focus, or sleep. Enjoy the serene voyage through the cosmos for hours on end.”
FirestormGamingTeam’s Eve Online ASMR Station Ambience
Like Jakel33t, FirestormGamingTeam opted for the sound of a space station. They have, however, chosen an Amarrian station. Instead of deals and tips being shared over the tannoy, it’s scripture, prophecy, and talk of the lord’s bounty. The reverberating rumbles of the crimson station give the video a decidedly ominous feel. For that reason, we probably wouldn’t recommend going to sleep listening to it, but if you’d like to give yourself goosebumps, then don’t miss it!
If this has whetted your appetite for some galactic zealotry, then check out the Ammarian stories in this EVE Online fanfiction collection.
TheGreatestBanana12’s EVE Online ASMR
TheGreatestBanana12's video is not only lovely to listen to, but to look at too. Their ship drifts by nebulae, space dust, and stargates, deep in Amarr space. Some particularly nice touches are the sound of their ship in warp, cloaking, and uncloaking.
Limal’s Autocannon Sensory Meridian Response
When you hear the word ‘cannon’, you probably don’t immediately think of tranquility, but Limal sets out to answer a question posed to themselves: “Can a Minmatar small autocannon serve as ASMR?” They reach the same conclusion as us: “Certainly!”. It may not be typical relaxing ASMR fare, but it’s a highly enjoyable listen nonetheless and gives new meaning to the word soundclash.
And what’s next for Limal? The large autocannon of course!
