Campfire Tales: tell us your greatest EVE story! 🔥

Gather round and listen closely, as this is an extra special reward. We have a prize pot of $3,750 - making this one of Just's biggest-ever rewards. To win one of our many prizes, publish a video telling your very best true EVE Online story.

All videos must be published on YouTube, Twitter, or Instagram between 13-21 July. That way, with all videos released within a single week, they'll really make a splash on the EVE content scene.
Your video title must include 'My best EVE Online story'.
We're looking for videos that are between three and 15 minutes long. If it's a little longer, we won't disqualify you.
The story should be a true EVE Online story, but you'll get a lot of bonus points for storytelling flair. We recommend scripting your video rather than winging it.
You can enter with any style of video: talking-head, animation, kinetic typography, stop motion, etc. Your story can be entirely narrated, or use narration to bridge dialogue and action, or show the events of your story unfolding in real time. All that matters is that it's a great story, told well.
Your video will also be judged on its visual component. Whatever style you adopt, make sure it's visually appealing.
Generative AI is forbidden when it comes to script-writing and creating visuals. However, you are allowed to use text-to-speech programs to synthesise your narration.
The story doesn't need to be epic. It can be funny, moving, uplifting, bittersweet, or something else. The point is that it's a great story.

I do not qualify due to the video length and upload date, but I will still give my moment in the comments and hope to inspire others as the dates for the upload gets closer. I wanted to share one of my proudest EVE moments.

I joined an alliance fleet without knowing what lay ahead—no briefing, no context. Just the call. Moments later, I found myself amid a colossal armada, warping in to the thunder of structure bashes and shadows cast by ships so vast they blocked out the stars. The sky turned red. The silence broke.

By sheer accident, I captured it all—fleet formations in perfect symmetry, engines glowing in the dark, a wall of firepower that felt like a force of nature. It was unplanned, unfiltered, and utterly breathtaking. When I compiled the video together - it has become one of my proudest editing moments and greatest EVE story. Its what made me continue to do what I do.

This is why I fly—not just to witness New Eden’s chaos, but to record it. To give others a glimpse of what it feels like when the void comes alive.
