Retell a legendary EVE story with a fresh spin!

There's a high likelihood that your first introduction to EVE Online was hearing one of its epic true player stories, like in-game bank owners emptying player accounts or multi-year corp infiltrations. There's a new generation of potential player who've never heard these stories, so we're challenging you to retell one of them while introducing something fresh to the equation. Because these stories have been told many times before, you'll need to make an especially high-quality video and add something unique to your retelling for it to stand out. Perhaps you animate it to make it easier to follow, perhaps you add new information that's come to light since, perhaps you discuss the aftermath that's still being felt today, or perhaps you narrate 'in character' as a journalist, storyteller, or something else.

Consider your visuals and your target audience while making the video; we suggest making your stories accessible to non-EVE players. If we're impressed, there's a high likelihood that we'll boost your video so that it reaches these audiences.

We'll leave the creative details up to you, but note that we're looking for especially high-quality video-making and storytelling in this reward, and that we've assigned appropriately high prizes for your efforts. You're also free to retell a selection of these stories in one video, but we're still expecting the same unique angle and high quality.

Videos should be at least four minutes long, but feel free to make them considerably longer.
