Alien 3 - One set of chompers is not enough

In this scene from Alien 3, the alien that is loose in the prison foundry comes really close to Ripley and scares the bejesus out of her. Moments after killing the doctor, it gets real up close and personal with Ripley. The alien hisses and opens it's jaws wide, and then another baby mouth shoots out too. Ripley is terrified, but after sniffing her the alien leaves her.

Later we find out Ripley is host to the alien queen, and the alien needed to let her live, to avoid killing the baby queen.

I usually don't watch many historical movies. But when I watched 2023's Napoleon, I remember how they managed to capture the sceneries of the covered locations really well. Maybe because it was in stark contrast to the rest of the movie, which I honestly did not enjoy that much. But at least there was the occasional treat for my eyes.

I picked this shot of Napoleon (Joaquin Phoenix) looking at a weathered sphinx, because even from the still image you can see how feels. In a world so vastly different from his home, he has no actual clue what he's doing there or why.

The Lovely Bones is definitely my all time favorite movie. It’s a tragic, yet beautiful story. This is the moment Susie tells Holy she’s “almost” free. It’s such a wonderful movie, definitely a tear jerker though :,)

The fourth season of True Detective, aka Night Country, takes place in a fictional town called Ennis in Alaska during 14 days of night. Even though it's set in Alaska it was filmed in Iceland so of course it includes a lot of gorgeous landscape shots and beautifully framed shots of the town, but the one I'm submitting is a bit different. For one, it's not set at night but it's just so hauntingly perfect. It's of one of the two main protagonists of the show stumbling onto something so horrific that she's at a loss for words. The scene is quite shocking as the viewer has been learning the details of this scene right up to this point. I won't say anymore because of spoilers but I will just say you need to go watch this show ASAP.
