I'm 2 episodes in (out of 8) but I'm pleasantly surprised, especially after the travesty that was the 2010 live action movie.
The casting is pretty damn good, especially Uncle Iroh and Sokka (who may have had some CGI touch ups).
The soundtrack is maybe even the same as the original, so it feels like The Last Airbender.
The costuming is a bit rough around the edges, with some dodgy wigs and such, but that's ok.
The storyline is very faithful to the cartoons (anime? Sorta?), but with more upfront backstory than in the original, but I don't mind that.
I'll keep watching, but I'm just here to invite you along with me on the ride!
