they better hurry up or it will be more like a present day documentary lol I thought the first one was ok; the book was far better tho! So much was missed out!

I agree - loved the book much more than the film however I remember being relieved when Spielberg came onboard to direct as he seems like one of the few directors who could promise the scale and world-building of the book - not to mention get the rights to show so many characters!

I have read both books and I love them, I am super excited to see a potential film for the second book, bring it on, I will be taking my oldest kids to see it!

I just hope they are able to get all the cameos approved. I think Spielberg's star power was key to getting that locked in

100% - exactly why I was relieved when he signed on for the first one. I remember when they announced the first film thinking "how will they ever get rights-holder to agree to this?"

The movie was based on a book. But the second one will be out of thin air?

I still love the book more than the movie :P

Ready Player 2 was a book too but I'm pretty sure its reception wasn't too great. General consensus was that the first book struck gold and the second simply didn't rise to its predecessor!
