I've got a great feeling about this! Whether you've read all of the books and watched every animated series or you've only seen the original trilogy, we want to know who your favourite Star Wars character is and why. It can be anyone from canon and non-canon sources, and while this is a Just About Film & TV bounty, we will accept characters who've never appeared on screen.
All that said, if you suggest a character from the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special, we may have to disqualify you. We're a non-judgemental and non-gatekeeping community, but even we have limits!
