Mine I would say is the one where Leonardo Decaprio is a pacifist teenager in Paris, I can't remember the name of the film, but he starred along side a couple, he was a teenager at the time, I think at the time, the film was way ahead of its time, sorry I really can't remember the name of it.

I think you're thinking of Total Eclipse 1995

Victor/Victoria, quite progressive narrative for 1982. Comedy part and music did a fantastic job to bring attention to sexuality and identity of the individual.

Whenever I talk about how representation SHOULD be done, I talk about Spiral (2019).

There are varying degrees of representation, but the BEST and most effective one is where the story cannot exist without it. Spiral is a perfect example of that.

P.S. it is NOT the Spiral in the Saw universe, but it is a horror film (it's me talking about it, after all).

I've not watched a lot of LBTQ+ films. Admittedly representation for this group has been sidelined if not part of the C or D storylines if not only briefly mentioned or confirmed by the actors/ writers that their characters are LBQT.

I did enjoy Kevin Smith's Chasing Amy (1997) as a more serious Viewaskew universe film trying to tackle sexuality in a more serious manner rather than the stoner-boner comedies you'd normally see from Smith.
