Lights, camera, playdough, action! Stop motion is an artform that requires patience and creativity. There are plenty of guides online, but in short, it's creating an animation by compiling still images, a.k.a. 'stops'. For this bounty, we're challenging you to use stop motion to recreate your favourite movie action scene.
We're not expecting you to faithfully recreate a scene-by-scene, blow-by-blow Battle of Helm's Deep (although you'd blow our minds if you did). As famed stop-motion maestros Aardman Animations well know with their fingerprints intentionally left on the clay, the charm of stop motion is in its imperfections. So grab whatever you can and have fun doing your best.
Never tried making a stop motion video? It's hard to master but relatively easy to learn. Give it a shot!

Once the deadline closes, we’ll pick up to five submissions. We'll award $30 to first place, $15 to second place, $10 for third place, and $5 to two runners up. We may then share them as curated content.
