AS a musical connoisseur I only view the finest work.

Which is why it would either be The Pick of Destiny's "Kickapoo" or South Park's "Shut your f*ing face uncle fer"

But I feel the former is my favourite of the two.

The times I've done this karaoke are innumerable. I even brought a baseball cap to switch positions when I switched characters/voices

The film came out the same year I was in basic training. On the weekends we would put the album on in the halls while we cleaned the block and sing along 😁, quality team building!

Tenacious D and the South Park movie soundtrack were two of the first three albums I ever bought (the third being OPM's Menace to Sobriety of Heaven is a Halfpipe fame).

I think the words of every song in the South Park movie are buried in my memory somewhere. My personal favourite was this, which I'm only this second realising was probably laying the foundations for my love of Les Mis:

Oh I do love Les Mis! If you haven't seen it with the current cast in London and got a chance to go, I highly suggest. I've seen it in various countries with various performances, movie adaptations but oh boy Stewart Clark is absolutely brilliant as Javert. He voiced Bahamut's dominant in Final Fantasy XVI, I loved him there and when I learnt he's in Les Mis I had to go and see it and my guy didn't disappoint.

Fun fact: back home I attended an acting class on Fridays after school, and we also performed parts of Les Mis as one of our end of year shows. I got to sing Castle on a Cloud and whenever I hear this song I end up in tears.

Other favourite song is Phantom of the Opera, one of the best versions of it I heard was by Floor Jansen: https://youtu.be/v_tlVUZ7mEk?si=UXY24WCuNthNtCd_

(but have to say Tarja did an amazing job with this as well)

And I love the French musical version of Romeo and Juliette, will have to look up the songs from that, haven't listened to it in ages so I don't recall the titles, but will post some later.

Glad there's a fellow Les Mis super-fan on the platform! It's probably no longer the same cast, but I did manage to catch it in London about six years ago, and it was unsurprisingly excellent. I saw Hamilton a couple of weeks ago, which was brilliant too! I'm envious that you got to perform it. I did some theatre stuff as a teenager (I can't sing or dance so quickly gave it up), but it's the one show that might be able to draw me back onto the stage, especially if I got to play Enjolras!

Not sure when did the cast change, I couldn't afford to go to theatre when I lived in London :( Got sent down to our office there at my previous work so I though right I'm going to theatre then since I had to stay overnight. It says now that bookings are on until 29th March 2025 so I assume it will stay the same cast until then?

I loved theatre but was more interested in getting into film production. Sadly didn't get much support from my parents as they kept telling me it has no future in Hungary and they never considered that I didn't want to stay there...

For me it's from The Greatest Showman and the song "The Greatest Show" I love it, I literally was stuck in traffic in town and my two teenagers were annoying me so I put it, opened the windows and turned it up, you have need seen two teenagers sink down in their seats so fast, it did however, shut them up xD

Its an absolute travesty that no one has suggested this tune from an utter icon!

Music of the Night, Phantom of the Opera. Also love Masquerade, and I mean, anything from that musical.

Any song from Grease AND Grease 2: Special note to There Are Worse Things I Could Do and Cool Rider

And... Newsies. Santa Fe, King of New York- just, all of it!

Man, I love the cheesiness and I can't ever pick ONE THING!!

PS- I saw Grease at the Fox Theatre in Detroit waaaay back in 4th grade and Rosie O Donnell was Rizzo lol

Ooh I forgot all about Grease! Some excellent tunes in there!
