THE JOKER

I know that the movie is really successful and almost everybody loves especially the ladder walking dance

but l grown up watching Cesar Romero in the 60’s tv series and Jack Nicholson from Tim Burtons Movies

but this Joaquin Phoenix “Joker” is sad , depressing, boring and confusing

I watched 1 time and never again

I don’t understand how make $1,074,458,282 $ 😳

Heyyy is my personal opinion

peace and love

I really believe that if this movie had been called “a madman dressed as a clown” it wouldn't have had half the hype. It's a movie with no connection to the Joker we know.

I’m Agree 100% and by the way maybe l’m too old for this new Disruptives versions

As a massive Batman fan, this is also one of the main reasons I don't like this movie

I guess I'm the outlier here! 😅

I thoroughly enjoyed Joker, as much as anyone can enjoy a film about someone in extreme mental distress.

The film felt like a really (almost painfully) grounded interpretation of this:

Joker:
...there's no difference between me and everyone else. All it takes is one bad day. That's how far the world is from where I am...just one bad day.

The end of Joker absolutely nails it, where...

He's such a deeply tragic character and Joaquin's portrayal really grabbed me.

Dear Boomer

Your opinion is very important and l recognize that the movie had good photography, camera angles , good dialogue and l’m suppose a good history

Is a good movie or bad l think the money that was making say that is a “Masterpiece”

But for me is impossible to swallow

Maybe is matter of taste

Thanks for your comentary

and is possible that all of us are right in our point of view

God bless all 🤗

Rank 33 - Captain Marvel

Everyone knows that this movie only did so well because it was released between the two Avengers films. It didn't deserve half that!

In the context of the time it was released, even if Marvel made a movie about flying llamas it would make 1 billion hahaha

JB

Aquaman. What a terrible movie! But worthy mentions include Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Fast & Furious 8 (the start of the franchises accelerated downfall)

Horror and Cats's avatar

I’ll say any of the Jurassic World movies, but specifically the first one. It completely missed the spirit of the Jurassic Park movies to make a buck… or rather over a billion bucks

I've only seen Dominion and it sucked! It wasn't really even about dinosaurs, it was about bugs! It also was way too scared to kill off its characters, which the original film wasn't shy about at all

#10 - Lion King. Almost 2b at the box office for a cgi remake of the animated classic. The entire idea of this film is a cash grab of epic proportions and, the truly sad part, is that it worked. They grabbed a lot of cash.

And they ditched my favourite Lion King song (probably up there among favourite Disney song): Scar's Be Prepared. I want to hear Jeremy Irons sing!

Gotta go with Star Wars: Episode IX. A film that desperately tried to win back the people who didn't like The Last Jedi with nonsensical fan service, that ended up alienating both the people that loved it and the people that hated it. It was so bad, it acted like a black hole that made the two films before it worse.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (enter the chat)

Like someone said: the trilogy is a mockery of george lucas work of art.

Thanks for reminding me about this film I've tried so hard to forget.

It was George Lucas that start the mockery with 1999 trilogy...

this was seriously one of the worst movies ever, it was just so bad on every level

I liked The Force Awakens at first watch as it brought back nostalgia, mostly because of the atmosphere at London Leister Square cinema for the midnight screening. Like the audience for was standing up clapping when the Millenium Falcon showed up and things like that. But then the more I saw it in the telly the more annoying details I noticed and I started to heavily dislike it.

We all thought the prequels were bad but actually I saw The Attack of the Clones in the cinema 10 times and don't regret it. I regret every penny I spent on this... Rouge One on the other hand... that's a masterpiece.

Avengers Endgame definitely

A boring movie with a lot of plot holes. It reminds more a Tv show recap episode of best moment of the season than a proper movie.
