The Just About team will be responsible for creating bounties during Beta testing. But this is a task we want to hand over to community members in time, with something we call the Bounty Setter role.
To help you understand how we’ll go about creating bounties, we’ve put together a guide that explains the ethos behind the bounty system, the information that we'll include in each bounty, and the sort of bounties you can expect to see on Just About.
Ethos
These are the core guidelines we use when creating bounties on Just About.
They should:
Promote individual creativity and community collaboration, and serve an atmosphere of positivity.
Our bounties should never be used to promote or provoke negative emotions and reactions.
Inspire submissions based on authentic, unique, real experiences that are resistant to AI.
For written bounties in particular, we focus on the passion, not the topic. What were your unique motivations and experiences, what did you learn?
Entertain, inform and educate our communities and future members.
We want a broad mix of bounties that serve the community’s culture as much as its growth through search-friendly content.
Use the right format for the right bounty.
Always consider which platform best serves the outcome in mind, whether that’s a short-form TikTok video, an Instagram post, or a written submission.
Essential information in each bounty
All bounties will include the following information as standard.
