That was quite the week! I'm Just About ready for a beer... 🥵

We pushed the big "Go Live!" button on Tuesday afternoon and invited a few of our close friends to join the platform for the first time. Within a couple of hours, Amazon Web Services & Netlify (two of the technologies we are using) were suffering from major service outages, taking down our platform in the process. We don't think it was our fault!

Those services eventually recovered and we invited a few more of you in on Wednesday on Thursday: Thank you so much for joining us, for all the messages of support and encouragement, and of course for helping us find so many bugs. We've logged dozens of them - and fixed quite a few too.

Right now we've still got a few bigger known issues (intermittent 404 errors, some broken images and the wrong authors appearing against some posts) but we're hoping to sort them imminently and we can take the weekend to relax, take stock and go again on Monday.

A big thank you to all of the Just About team for their efforts getting us this far. Everybody has played their part turning a slightly mad idea we had last year into an Actual Thing over the past few months, and it's extremely gratifying to see it all come to life.

Next week we'll be publishing our Roadmap to give an idea of where we're aiming to go with the platform. It's a cliche to say what you're looking at now is just the very beginning, but it's also true!
