As a moderator on Reddit myself, I feel it is insane how the company is reacting to the community backlash over the API changes.
Whether they like it or not, they need moderators on their side. Moderators are all personally invested in the growth and success of their communities, and the blackout was all about sending a message to Reddit that their planned API changes are harmful to their communities.
I figure if Reddit's admins don't wake up, they will lose their moderators and community builders, and if Just About is ready, we can catch all those people and have the seeds of new communities with the networks to facilitate rapid community growth.
