Interesting, is this model sustainable? I guess you've already done the research and the answer is yes?
Yes! The current Bounties (such as $1 for linking your account etc) are simple short-term tests of the bounties/payouts/platform funded by us and won't persist much beyond Alpha/Beta.
Longer-term, bounties will be funded by companies who'd like to support our communities (via The Treasury) and indirectly encourage interesting content creation on & off the platform. We'll also be sharing our ad revenue back into the Treasury.

So if I am right in thinking, the idea is that companies would come in and to promote say a video game ask for the community to produce a video or content related to this game, and then the best content of that gets the payout?
I'm new to this site and like the idea, is there a specific thread or somewhere I can provide feedback about the UI and stuff?

That's broadly the idea, yep! (Technically it's not as direct as that, as the company is contributing to the Community Treasury, but the actual bounties will be set by our team... and hopefully in the future, community members themselves).
