UI Suggestion: Can we minimise the sidebars?

Hello! Just a suggestion, can we have an option on these sidebars to minimise them? Then a further button to bring them back out, basically a way to hide these sidebars temporarily?

I feel like its all super claustrophobic and would like a way to make it less so!

I feel like there is so many shiny things trying to grab my attention on this page

We have the Were Listening which feels like I should be able to dismiss it, its purple colour makes me want to interact with it so its distracting.
The big top bar with the big blue badge is instantly grabbing my attention and I cannot hide that.
The two side bars are grabbing my attention
Lastly the content in the middle which is the key focus on the site grabs my eyes last

Thanks so much for sharing this. It's definitely on our radar and having these suggestions from the community is invaluable in helping us prioritise new features and improvements. Here's a little peek behind the curtain at some very early platform designs that include exactly that behaviour:

Show/hide behaviour for the sidebars is in our roadmap, along with so much else. I will add a link to this discussion into the ticket for this item and see if I can't get this bumped up a few spots.

In terms of points 1 & 2 (making the 'we're listening' box dismissible and hiding the welcome message for returning users), these are queued up already and will be coming soon 🙌

It's good to know that those items are grabbing your attention though! We just need to make sure they stop grabbing it once you've spotted them 👀 so you can focus on the content. Please keep things like this coming - and thanks again 🤝
