What are your excitement levels?
Given how Elon is crashing-and-burning Twitter, it gives Meta a great opportunity to try and capture this part of the market... an opportunity that's been closed off to them for years when Twitter was riding high.
But I can't help feeling they'll still struggle ultimately. Feels like there's an inevitability where they will do what they did to Instagram and Facebook, cram it full of ads and 'recommended content' at the expense of the core offering that attracted people in the first place.
And those who didn't like Twitter's enshittification probably don't see Meta as their ideal saviour either...
