What are you playing?

Here’s a simple question, easily answered: what are you playing right now?

I’m exploring Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, after picking it up in an Xbox sale for £15. I rarely pay full-price for games and, to be honest, I haven’t played many games all year. But I got the urge to get stuck into something big a couple of weeks ago.

I like the exploration more than anything, but it does remind me that Dead Dead Redemption 2 does trotting on horseback and getting into all kinds of scrapes and weirdness much better. That’s the problem with most games, isn’t it? One does it infinitely better than the rest.

I haven’t finished an Assassin’s Creed game since the Assassin’s Creed 2 trilogy (ha!) and I doubt I’ll finish this, but I’ll play it as long as I can continue to bury an axe in a Saxon’s head and have fun.
