I didn't play Valhalla but I really loved Odyssey. At the moment I'm all in on Street Fighter 6, I really wanna get good at it but it's been a long time since I've really delved into one of these games

I've actually been playing a lot of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit remastered on the Switch. It was always a great game and one of the most fun burnout like games. I find it good when busy to just do a few races when taking a break. I mostly buy physical carts on switch but it's nice to have a few digital games like this that you can just dip into. ;)

On Xbox - No Man's Sky (been playing it for years now)

On phone I've been playing Monopoly Go and My Universe (treadmill grindiness 💪)

No Man's Sky is the game I always tell myself I'll go back to, but still haven't. I really should, but then Starfield is just around the corner...

Starfield aka No Man's Skyrim

Dave The diver for single player when times allows which will keep me occoupied until starfield comes out, Fortnite as always for multiplayer. On mobile I have picked back up Professor Layton and the curious village which it turns out I bought years ago on an older phone and forgot all about.

Still loving replaying Frostpunk and absorbing how well they adapted a strategy game for controller based play.

I did complete Valhalla during the pandemic but it was a grind in places. Very repetitive.

I just finished a lovely rainy day play through of Blanc with my other half, which was ideal for an afternoon & evening's entertainment. Next up is Breath of the Wild I think...

I recently picked up the new Fire Emblem, it’s been pretty fun. The mobile game was my intro to the series, then Three Houses, and I’ve enjoyed the gameplay a lot, I’ve always liked moving characters around a board and making bad guy numbers go down. The plot oscillates between developing really compelling characters and sinking into anime tropes. But I still enjoy it despite the whiplash.

I really enjoyed Engage. Three Houses is one of my favourite games ever and Engage definitely isn't, but I had a fun time with it and it cemented me as a Fire Emblem fan. I think the level design in that game in particular is fantastic, and a big step up from Three Houses' base game, and more in line with the DLC. I also really enjoy the Emblem Ring system and how much scope it gives you to buffing your characters, I managed to make Lapis an absolute beast by min-maxing her to crit nearly every hit.

Final Fantasy XVI. Absolutely stunning game, with lots of side content to keep you entertained even during the second playthrough. There are some unique boss battles which really put my expectations high for any future game.

Love it how beside the different difficulty levels you also get accessories which can assist you, so people can fine-tune the gameplay to their liking.
