Hi folks, we hope you had a great weekend! Monday has come again, so that means it’s time for another weekly update.
Visitors get a friendly invitation, not 404s
It’s been a couple of months since Just About entered Beta, and we’re continuing to improve the experience for non-members visiting the platform. Visitors clicking links that direct them to on-platform discussions used to see a 404 page not found error, but now they’ll get a friendly invitation to join the community.
Platform updates
This week we’ve been fixing bugs and broken links, updating a few formatting issues, but most notably the search bar is now quicker and more responsive. We’ve also upgraded the preview that appears on other platforms when you link to a discussion on Just About. Instead of seeing a generic pending approval message, you’ll now see a few details about the community and discussion it links to!
