Makster has been talking so much about Japanese studies that I finally decided to pick it up again. Studied Japanese for a year at uni but then had to drop out. So far I couldn't find time to get back to it, especially not with the traditional textbook and paper method.
Duolingo didn't work for me and tried another app called Memrize which was great with native speaker videos but didn't have a clear structure and struggled to load the videos during train journeys (UK mobile coverage is bad)
Found 2 apps now which are perfect for short learning sessions on the train and I can practice writing by drawing the characters on the screen. They are called JA Sensei and Kanji Study.
Will see how long it takes to de-rust my knowledge and learn new things too!
