Since there are no replies and purely based on my speculations. I suspect it may be for creators who wish to set their own bounties that they will pay (sponsor). And the former is our regular bounty system. I could be wrong tho :P

I mean it would be quite interesting in a sense, to post bounties and pay for it ourselves. The worrying part would be people who may have issues if they did the thing but didn't get the reward. I mean it is the right of whoever is paying and also set T & Cs that protects us, not to mention there will still be salty people in any case. But i admit it would be interesting to see.
