How are the pets of Just About?
We had a late-onset winter this year, but finally the snow is piling up and shows no intention of stopping. With snow comes the dogs' "snow madness" which is when they zip around like lunatics just because the ground is fluffy/edible.
Also, The Hateful One (Spice the Siamese) is finally able to relax with me in the same room voluntarily. The heating blanket helps, I'm sure.

Her name's Mocha, she's a sweetheart. Rose mostly tolerated her company 😅 but they got along well enough
I would love to share cat-updates, however I wish for the relationship with our rent-a-cat to remain completely anonymous! :D
I will say this... he comes around daily for a tickle and pat, and then bobs off - no treats or anything - he just wants a pat and a tickle!
I had an apartment cat like that. She was an outdoor cat of a neighbor but would come inside at night as sleep on my bed haha. Such funny little nomads cats are
my poor babies have retreated under the house during the day, it's getting up around 40c summer is nearly here, have to set up a shallow pool for them asap, my blind girl princess loves splashing water on herself, and the rest would just go and lay in it for a bit, before finding a cool spot, under the house usually.
During the hot months my pups love their big puppy pool. Dogs definitely seem to overall enjoy winter weather over hot.

she is the sweetest most loving of them all, quiet and affectionate, unlike my blind boy mayhem, he's my crazy puppy, no fear, and loves to run around the paddock chasing the air, lol, aptly named,
