Here is my recap of 2024! It's been a great year but next year will be better!

I would have liked to have known about Just About for a longer time, but I only got to know it around August 2024. My boyfriend found out about it through his friends and started using it at that time, so he pointed it out to me and I gradually got to know it, and I loved it!!!

Something that started with a few visits a week has become practically a daily part of my routine. Here I met brilliant people with innovative ideas and a lot of common ground to talk about!!!

Starting with Horror and Cats, your Monday Pupdates and Cattitudes is the best!!! I started liking Just About a lot from then on haha. I always follow and would like to share my pets too! After all, there's nothing better than pets!

I remember my first post here on Just About, which was a bounty on the title of your biography and that was my first interaction here. I had the nostalgia of recovering a memory of my first concert and I was also challenged to think of a word that didn't have a faithful translation in English and I put “Saudade”. There are so many memories...

Here I challenged and surpassed myself with every bounty, I wrote about movies, games, books, music... I made tutorials, I even drew! One of the most memorable things was when I made a diorama.

Here is a place where we can meet nice people, make friends and talk about many things in common. And that has made Just About a wonderful part of my day. I'm grateful to Just About and the whole community for making this place what it is.

May 2025 bring new challenges, new interactions, and may this community continue to grow and strengthen.

Introducing myself, I'm a final year student with a lot of free time on my hands. Then, my friend recommended Just About Community. There were many rewards in various genres, and I started to try it out.

In November, I registered my account and got the rewards at the end of the month. As it turned out, it was really fun to be in this community. I could spend my free time doing something I liked and get rewards. Plus, I can see opinions and ideas from other JA members.

I hope JA will continue to exist and grow. I'm also looking forward to the surprises that will come to this JA Community. The year 2024 is a special year because one of them I found this JA Community. Lastly, I hope we all continue to progress and develop together in Just About Community.

Thank you :)

I only joined during this year, so my recap reaches back for only 5 months, but it was very interesting 5 months! I was forced to learn so much about my tools and got to know new ways of working with my software. These bounties gave me challenges to overcome and reasons to keep going and getting that last bit of concentration to finish a piece. But not only that it made me a better editor, it also gives me the possibility to earn some money while learning and experimenting. Thanks to my recent payout, I was able to organise a visit with some friends I met in Eve Online!

I am looking forward to the next year full of interesting bounties and ideas. There is much more to learn, and I am sure I will get many more opportunities to do more of what I like to do and see my work be rewarded. Thank you to the JA team for making this possible!

Happy New Year everyone!

Personal Summary

I remember when four months ago I saw two good friends of mine insisting that I join this site and sharing bounties every day in our steam family group (which today, by the way, has become the just about family haha) and I simply didn't find it interesting or even believed in the “promise” until I actually decided to join and I really liked it, I see the various interactions that take place here and I find it incredible to recognize some nicknames in the posts and always drop some mental comment “wow, this guy is really annoying” hahaha. I remember that my first submission was in a bounty of old technologies that could come back and I talked about foldable cell phones, I would never have imagined what this site would give me.

My submissions

I admit that I was very reluctant about submissions that required more than texts, I lead a very busy life because of college, I didn't want another obligation in my life, but I came to see it almost as therapy, a disconnection from reality, and I liked it a lot. I discovered a new hobby, which was drawing, being able to try out new techniques, even though my drawings are pretty bad hahaha. I love submissions that explore creativity, such as when they ask you to write stories, change scripts. I also really enjoyed making tierlists, it gave me a good impression of what other people think, as well as getting angry when I saw absurdities haha.

I'm dedicating an entire paragraph to smite, it was the most interesting bounty and perhaps the one I've done the most, there are countless smite guides I've ended up doing, and I really like it when we have a bounty that makes me play and understand the game. There were countless times when I started playing with a god simply because I had to do the bounty, as well as looking into the history of the gods, understanding the whole complexity of the game.

Community:

Here I'm highlighting the figures I've seen the most in the posts, of course I won't be able to mark them all, but feel marked

Sturmer I see him in many posts, but mainly in EVE, a well-known figure in the community.

CMDR Henckes I love this vegan, I believe he would be an excellent moderator for the site, I have never seen such a helpful person, always helping people with their posts, warnings about using AI etc. I just thank him for his friendship.

TheGreatestBanana12 You have no idea how much I LOVE your challenges, I can't always take part, but I love seeing your creativity.

Horror and Cats You like cats, that's enough.

Alex Sinclair It's gratifying to answer a bounty with a text and be answered by it, and to actually have the impression that what you wrote wasn't just an irrelevant bounty, but that it was read and will actually make a difference, even if it's minimal, like a movie recommendation or a book review.

Organization

As my friends have already pointed out haha, we have a spreadsheet (created by @igu) and that's where we base ourselves to always answer all possible bounties, this only reinforces how something that I didn't even want to be a part of, today has a great importance.

Conclusion

I think Just About has really become an active community, not just a rewarding one. It's become a routine for me to pick up a movie/game nomination from discussions, and it's a great rest for the mind when I come home from a tiring day and see a photo challenge, and see people disagreeing about the game of the year haha. The impact was so great that my girlfriend decided to take part when she saw how much I was enjoying it, just as my friends influenced me. I hope 2025 is as incredible as the end of 2024 was!

As reward warned that I should link to social networks, here's an instagram post with all the photos used above:

The 2024 year in Just About started to me after the first half, when the Elite Dangerous Community was created, my favourite game, and the first Reward I have participated was of the Planet screenshot from space, I didn’t win any prize at this one but the site fascinated me, a palace that was created to Content Creators and fans of their games and communities

https://justabout.com/elite-dangerous/36624/share-a-screenshot-of-a-planet-seen-from-space

One of the things that motivated me was the competitions for the best submission or the top three and this reminded me of one of the biggest changes of this site, and I even made a discussion about that. The changes scared me at first but it was a real good change. Below you can see my discussion

https://justabout.com/just-about/37792/evergreen-rewards-my-thoughts

As @JHenckes already said, I’ve created a spreadsheet to help to monitor the reward I pretend to do and keep note of what I’ve made or not, and share with my friends that are here on JA. Now it works in collaboration, we have to update manually but I recently learned how to scrap the site to collect how many rewards are still available in evergreen rewards.

And the last thing I would like to say is how this platform is dynamic, the games that come and go in the video games communities, I discover that here already had a community for Dragon's Dogma and I could see the Nightingale community come to an end, but that’s how things are, nothing is forever!

As an honourable mention I would like to highlight the Virtual Photography of TheGreatestBanana12

2024: A Year of Discovery and Creativity

The year 2024 turned out to be an exciting journey, especially with my discovery of the Justabout.com social network. Through its bounties (now rewards) I explored a variety of new areas, including video production, drawing, and even creating analytics reports for Eve Online!

It was a chance to revisit skills I hadn’t used in decades. Some rewards led to unforgettable family evenings filled with laughter and brainstorming.

This year also introduced me to some incredible games that I might have otherwise missed (Vanguard, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Nightingale). While some sadly lost their active communities, I remain hopeful for their comeback, especially since our community created a wealth of content to support them.

I’ve also started following a few new communities, though I haven’t jumped in yet. One of them being Elite Dangerous, which appeals to my love for Mass Effect and Eve Online.

While time has been scarce, limiting my ability to actively engage in many discussions, I’m eager to find ways to contribute more in the future!

I kept some records of bounty submissions, rewards paid out and things I've spent them on, but I never liked numbers, so I thought I will try to sum up how it feels to publish my content on JA in comparison to other platforms.

I never thought I would write articles in English, but seeing my first article published as curated, and all the nice feedback I received constantly about my Final Fantasy knowledge gave me the encouragement to try and write more often. And given how much time I have for making content, weekly articles are much more doable for me than trying to publish a video every week to keep my channel consistent.

Podcasts were never something I even thought about doing, but the idea came up here and after a while I thought you know what... I have thoughts to share... It's been great to have Horror and Cats and Rixx Javix on board for most of the episodes, even if it just stays something the 3 of us will do I'm looking forward to it, but hopefully we get more people involved in it this year.

I only really have one goal as a content creator, to make it to the next Final Fantasy XIV Media Tour and do an interview with Yoshi-P. There is a huge part of the community which doesn't get much representations, and I want to change that and make their voices heard as well. If I wanted to go as a streamer/Youtuber I would need to hit numbers which I can't, because I refuse to make clickbait content. But by shifting my focus onto written articles I might have a chance...

So thank you all for suffering my Final Fantasy ramblings 😅

2024 and Just About

I haven't been on Just About for the entire year, but have very much enjoyed my time on here checking out all the beautiful content others are creating. Below are some of the ones I enjoyed viewing the most.

https://justabout.com/elite-dangerous/37576/eight-jaw-dropping-player-made-videos-celebrating-the-elite-anniversary

Some of these came up on my YT feed, but some I didn't know even existed. Lots had wonderful camera work like Gadnok and there was some great discussion about the history of Elite from Phoenix_Dfire.

To complement the 40 year video celebration of Elite Dangerous, there was also an art work bounty. It was a joy to see all the ways people were being creative. I can't believe Rac made a T-shirt, blew me away. I really want to try baking a cake with some cake art for Elite next time one of these are run. Alex Sinclair tempted me but thought I'd stick to drawing, haha.

https://justabout.com/elite-dangerous/37924/incredible-fan-made-elite-artwork-celebrating-40-years-of-the-games

The last one I'll link is one of the many screenshot bounties that were run. Elite is just one of those games that has an endless amount of screenshot opportunities. There are so many gorgeous shots in that bounty. The one from Matt G is just a killer though. When I'm brave enough to leave the bubble again for exploration (real, long-term exploration), I'll be sure to take some shots for the next bounty.

Looking forward to contributing, and enjoying, more content in 2025. Thanks to the Elite community and Just About!

A long but short year, I have started playing a lot of new games this year. Elite Dangerous, Monster Hunter: World, Risk of Rain 2, 7 days to die, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2, returned to Warhammer: Vermintide 2, you name it. Made a lot of new friends this year from those games. Joined a Squadron EFRC in Elite Dangerous, first time after a while I get the feeling of how to be in a great community again. On top of that, we're here on Just About, even more friends, and somewhere I could share my knowledge and passion and get rewards for it :)

N

I discovered this site in August, through a friend of mine. I just started with the Smite 2 community, a game that I play very often. The rewards have been incredible, especially those for guides. To be able to create the guides I need to play with the god several times, trying to understand as much as possible about the god, from the best builds to some tips. This has helped me a lot in learning to play with a wider variety of gods. Lately I've also been doing rewards from other communities, like pokemon and sports. Regarding the site, since I discovered the site until today the site has received some updates, all of them positive in my point of view. 2024 was a fantastic year for me and I hope 2025 will be even better.

Let’s see what 2025 brings!

avrona's avatar

So it's been over a year now since I've been part of Just About, after getting invited back in October 2023, and it's insane how much the platform has changed since them, from all the new communities, to all the nice UI changes.

While it's of course nice to have a place to post your ramblings and opinions on stuff, or just nerd out about things you personally find really interesting, obviously the money from it all is nice as well, and in my case, has been downright essential, and there's so much I wouldn't have been able to do this year if not for the payouts here. Thing is, my YouTube channel and the company around it is my whole job, and I don't really take a salary out of it, and I have no other source of income, so Just About has really helped make several new projects on my channel actually possible thanks to that leeway it gave me in 2024.

Because of how closely-knitted it is, especially with a lot of the OG members, it's great feeling like the stuff I posted on here in 2024 actually got seen as well.

So here's to an even cooler 2025.

TeaLeaf's avatar

It's been a fun time on this website this year! I've really enjoyed a lot of the events and submissions in the Critter Café category, seeing all the posts people have made was inspiring and fun to see. It makes me enjoy gaming more while being part of different communities.

And this site has also let me branch out to some other interesting topics that I don't usually partake in, such as Books & Comics for example.

I've been on JustAbout for a little bit more than a month, hence why the graphics is only for December. I had fun colour picking the colours from the website dark theme :D

The choice of metrics and a very "corporate" look is a little tongue-in-cheek. My experience with JustAbout cannot be reduced to numbers. I heard about the platform from the Critter Café social media effort, at a time where I was very depressed and very low on funds. And it looked too good to be true! I've always been taught that "if something looks too good to be true, it probably is", but I called my partner over, together we read all the website, the fine prints... and it looked legit? And then I signed up, and io and behold, it did look very legit indeed.

Back then, the "big prize reward" for Critter Café was "stream Critter Café for an hour". And as I sat there, I realized... I want it! I want to do it! It sounds fun! I love Critter Café so much! I've always wanted to try it, but I've never allowed myself to!

This was the beginning of hopefully a beautiful content creation hobby-- my internet is simply not good enough for me to handle streaming, but that first experience motivated me to start a small YouTube channels where I make crunchy little videos.

This is the first thing that JustAbout gave me a push to try, but not the last, as I was really excited to try decorating a cake for the "bake a critter" reward as well. I went all out! The state of the kitchen when I was done!! But I was incredibly proud of winning that reward. It was exactly like that, having your cake and eating it too :D It was such a confidence booster.

It might be crude to mention money among all those good, heartwarming feelings, but I cannot overstate how being able to tell myself "I have that much coming in at the beginning of January" feels good and empowering. Like, I've done this. I've earned that money, myself, by believing in my dreams and my capacity to try new things. I've struggled a lot in the past, and being able to say those things feel great. It really does.

It makes me so happy to check the platform once in a while and see everyone express themselves and their creativity, even in communities I'm not part of. In 2025, I hope to have much more fun with Critter Café rewards, and maybe even branch out a little with rewards from other communities as well.

Thank you so much to everyone, Critter Café staff, JustAbout staff, and every community members, for all of your hard work in 2024. Let's have a great 2025! Happy new year!

Your Wrapped design is so cute! It looked too much like something official from the site, congratulations on your work!

dianthus's avatar

Thank you so much! But now I'm worried... Did I make it too close to the official branding? XD I was careful not to use the logo and the color-coding (I noticed 'JustAbout' is always written in white for example so it's in green on my design) but maybe I still go to far?

Please let me know, staff! I'm not sure who to ask... maybe Boomer ?

I've been waiting a few days to make this post, because exactly today (12/25/2024), exactly 4 months ago, I received the initial 2$ when we did the “tutorial bounty” and the first organic rewards because of a light conversation in the video games community (the first community I participated in here at Just About).

My start on the site came exactly from games. I used to play Elite Dangerous with my brother and he told me that there was this site that had some kind of partnership with the game and offered a financial return, but I didn't pay much attention at the time (this was 2 weeks before I started the site). When I saw that the site worked very well, had a great community and the rewards were really happening, I decided to join. And the rest is just joy!

Just About brought back a feeling that I had lost, which was that of looking for something new in games, the pleasure of coming home and playing a new game and having a place to talk about it and earn a bit of money from it. That's how I got into communities for games I never thought I'd play, like Nightingale, EVE Online, and now with games like FS25 and Critter Café and even temporary partnerships like Voidwrought. I see this as such a cool evolution in me, because it hasn't just shaped me with the site, it's changed my day-to-day life. I started looking for new games outside of the ones the site had partnerships with. I've been able to finish games that I've wanted to for a long time, like The Witcher 3, Divinity Original Sin II, Hollow Knight, Blasphemous 2, among many others that I certainly wouldn't have played in the last few months if the site hadn't brought me this spark that I'd lost...

Returning to my journey through the site, it has even helped me to become more interested in sports, books and movies. The discussions created by the community and also by the staff were great, series recommendations, book reviews, opinions and soccer videos. Everything was always great! I've never formed a very strong friendship in the community, but some people I end up talking to for a long time and on a wide variety of topics, which is great!

I've made some posts that I never thought I would, I'm still a bit rusty at drawing, but I've managed to do some nice things, as well as taking some great photos, whether in real life or at games!

Just About has always been a site that has embraced me and in return I've always tried to reciprocate, be it with creative posts, bug alerts or suggestions for improvements the site could have. I think that this presence to always guarantee the high level that the staff has been doing with the site has been essential and I guarantee that I will continue to be attentive and alert to anything hahaha.

I must denounce myself, my level of commitment to the site has reached a level where my brother CMDR Henckes created this spreadsheet and we started using it together with another friend of ours yan57436 with all the rewards organized by the deadline so that we don't get lost and always participating in whatever we can! It's made all the difference to me and to them, it's what allows us to always be active on the site even in the rush of work and college!

In short, Just About is now a form of relaxation for me, I distract my mind and have fun with the community. I can't thank you enough for the change that these 4 months, always active in the community, have made and continue to make for the better!

I thought you know what, I'm going to be brutally honest in my post, I have had what can only be described as a shit irl year that is still ongoing and still hard for my family.

No-Fault Eviction / Relationship Issues / Teenage Drama

  1. For 15 years we lived in a small village and privately rented, our children grew up there and we knew, that we were lucky to have such cheap rent for as long as we did, but we were told, it's okay, you have one more year coming, so we didn't worry, but instead of a new tenancy, we were handed a "no-fault eviction" which basically means, being evicted for no reason, we tried to fight it and ended up in court, this whole drama saga lasted about 4 months before we finally had to leave. We appealed to our local county council for help, rent prices are so high, they moved us to temporary accommodation and we are still here 9 people, in a small three bedroom house.

  2. This of course led to strain on our marriage which eventually led to two temporary splits, but, thankfully we were able to work through these by talking, spending more time together and trying our hardest to stop arguing over stupid things, but we are now stronger than ever.

  3. Teenage drama, one of my sons, who attends martial arts was attacked at school and promptly dropped the kid, whose two friends then decided to join in and he dropped them as well. this led to the police being involved and my son's attackers, and parents, attempting to have my son arrested, thank god for school CCTV nowadays or that could have been bad. So three kids were arrested for assault and my son was given a warning about "excessive force".

  4. My car also decided to die to a full-engine seizure apparently, which as I know nothing about cars, did not even know this was a thing and apparently once this happens, you can do nothing but scrap it and then get a new car.

So this has been our year so far. It's getting better, Christmas in one day now, and it's 00:09 as I'm writing this, so I am hoping for a better year next year!

After I was diagnosed with burnout last year in December '23, it really knocked the rug out from under me. It's taken a while until I've seen any improvement. My rehab, which only recently ended, was probably also a deciding factor.

There I had the opportunity to give a short talk about my experiences on the Way of St. James, as the topic was very well received.

I walked my first Camino, the Camino Frances from SJPdP to SdC, then on to Fisterra and Muxi, between August 29th and October 2nd, 2015.

This was not to be the last Camino. The following year I decided to walk the Camino Portugues from Porto to SdC. That was when the spark finally ignited. However, it would be 2023 before the next Camino.

I started the Camino del Norte on August 27th, 2023 in Irun and arrived in SdC two days earlier than planned on October 5th, 2023, where I spent those two days before returning home. What is home actually?

I was born in Germany, but emigrated to Austria in 2013. Do I feel at home here? No!

I feel it is time to start a new phase of my life.

My gut tells me that the Camino should be my new home.

I have long had the dream of running my own hostel.

I would like to pass on some of what I have experienced and learned on the Caminos to other pilgrims.

The choice of where has already been made. It will be the Camino del Norte, which has particularly captivated me. I would like to implement the whole thing in the next 3-5 years, as this requires a lot of planning and preparation.

If you would like to support this project, I would be very happy about it. If the project does not take place as planned, the money will be donated to social institutions.

My year within the 'JustAbout' community was very pleasant; it helped me continue creating content not only for the love of it but also because they provided a monetary incentive, which, as a university student, helps me a lot. I would love to participate even more in different rewards. I hope they include more games or TikTok creation challenges so I can focus on improving my reach and adaptability to different circumstances. Who knows, maybe I could become a partner of the community, perhaps even the first one from my country (Chile). I hope they keep improving even more than they already are because if 'JustAbout' improves, we all improve :)

Here I leave one of the TikToks I created, motivated by 'JustAbout'

A

2024.

A long year.

A year of ups and down.

A year that saw me pull away even more from the social part of the web at large.

Just About had followed the trend.

JA gave me a few lovely satisfaction: seeing my writing recognized in the few fiction bounties in the EVE Online community are really the bright spots of this JA Year. Not just for the money, but for getting my work recognized, which, for me, is something that very rarely happens. And I did enjoy playing with words and experimenting with those entries.

On the downside, as the year progressed, my activity dimished, a bit due to real life, but also due to the fact that most bounties have become unreachable to me due to a variety of factors.

Overall? It wasn't a bad year.

In the briefest of looks forward at the looming 2025... it's hard to say how it will go. On this, I live on the "We will see what the next day bring".

I really enjoy being a part of the Just About community and participating across multiple genres, being inspired by my fellow members, challenged by creative rewards, and pushed in new and exciting directions from unexpected places. I'm having a blast with the community podcast that we've been doing and look forward to continuing to be a part of that effort going forward into 2025.

2024 was a challenging year for me as my participation in a large 18-month project came to an end in the late Summer (although I'm still actually working on it), and I started wondering what my next steps might be. During that journey I've discovered a renewed enthusiasm for content creation inspired primarily by the Just About community. Primarily in producing quality creative videos based on my passion for Eve Online. A single reward challenge, "Create a Eve documentary in the style of Carl Sagan" not only resulted in my piece called "Old Man Star", but it inspired me to continue the series and now I've created two more documentary shorts "Zombies of Yulai" and, just released yesterday, "Vak'Atioth". The project has also re-connected me to other members of the wider Eve community, working with narrators and music producers - as well as getting offers to help recreate older events with 3D modelers in the future.

This is just one example of the power of this platform and what it can do. And why I feel it has become an invaluable resource, asset, and destination for me.

I look forward to what 2025 will bring and where it will take us.

BTW, I'm living witness of 'Zombies of Yulai' and got some memorabilia from this event

A Year Recap at Just About

Today is the 17th of December, marking exactly one year since I received my first organic rewards in my wallet—a milestone that began a wonderful journey. Looking back at old screenshots of JustAbout.com, when it had just a few communities and a handful of members, I can truly appreciate how much the platform has grown over the past year.

My first bounty:

https://justabout.com/eve-online/33721/which-eve-empire-would-you-most-like-to-live-in-tell-us-for-dollar4/replies/8534

With new communities and features being released regularly, the platform has made life easier for us, JAers. Many new members have also joined, enriching the community with their diverse perspectives and experiences. For me, this isn’t about competition but about learning, aiming higher, tackling problems from unexpected angles, and ultimately going above and beyond.

Over this year, I’ve created 2752 posts and earned 783 rewards, with 130 (16.6%) coming from the Eve Online Community. I won’t lie - this community sparks for me some of the most challenging and interesting discussions. So, if you’re new to Eve Online and reading this, here’s my referral link… Just kidding! But seriously, you should check out the game; there’s nothing else like it. Trust me, I’ve been playing for over two decades. And if you need support, advice, or maybe 1 million free SP… hahaha Stop it! Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

I won’t tag everyone to avoid overloading the notification system, but I wanted to share some gratitude vibes:

  • TheGreatestBanana12 for keeping the community-run challenges.

  • MURRRAAAAY for covering major industry shifts and delivering those nostalgia-filled dives.

  • Horror and Cats someone plz give this person an animal community already!

  • Makster and CMDR Henckes for diving into discussions and generously sharing their knowledge.

  • Rixx Javix for bringing incredible aesthetics to every creative challenge.

I also want to shout out a few members I truly miss, like Retro Stu and Konquest Hoping to see your amazing work again next year!

A big thanks to our silent heroes - the JA Staff - who are rarely seen but work tirelessly to resolve our requests, implement our feedback, and bring new partner-projects. And of course, an enormous thank you to all the Moderators, our guardians, and helpers. I think the title “Moderator” doesn’t fully capture the invaluable assistance you provide to the community; it’s far more than just filtering unpleasant content.

On a personal level, this year has been a journey of growth. I’ve learned new skills and tried many things that I’d typically avoid because they were outside my comfort zone. JustAbout, with its diverse community and rewards, feels almost like a Coursera or Udemy course. It has taught me how to work with media and elevate the production value of my content to a professional level. There were gaps I couldn’t bridge on my own, but now, thanks to the platform, I’ve gained the skills and confidence to launch my personal project kekbur.net.

If I had to choose a single reward I’ve enjoyed the most this year, it would undoubtedly be the EVE Flash Fiction bounties: Minmatar, Gallente, and Caldari (Amarr one went quite meh, but I have few ideas on how to bring some spicy twist from this empire in the future). And the full story a published here. They’ve been a truly delightful experience.

All my life, I’ve worked with facts, numbers, and reality, but these bounties allowed me to immerse myself in fantasy and unleash my imagination. I even joked that if we had a few more bounties like that, I’d seriously consider compiling these stories into a book. Who knows? Let’s see what 2025 brings!

Sturmer I’m still here buddy! We’re just in different communities. I’ve been wanting to get into eve online but I’ve never touched it and it’s something that takes real commitment. I’ve been trying to focus more on my YT channel. I just joined the Farm Sim 25 community.

P.s if we had a Bethesda software category it would be awesome, just an idea. Combination of Beth games etc. Skyrim, elder scrolls series, fallout series. Skyrim and fallout 4 still has a strong modding community.

No, since 2003, you only lose consumables like ships, which are relatively easy to replace. Characters are immortal—if killed, they simply respawn at a station or citadel. Skill point loss used to be a factor if you didn’t update your clone, but that mechanic was removed about a decade ago.

Additionally, there’s plenty of PvE content where everything is fairly controlled. There’s even gameplay for station moguls, where markets and contracts become your battlefield =)

Thanks fam, appreciarte you being here too! Thats some recap how did you putt the data for all the bounties and stuff you had participated in?

PS Just About a yearly recap wrapped style thing would be awesome to do in the future for JA members!

It might seem complex, but the implementation is actually quite simple.

I pull data from notification emails, send it via the Data Lake to the warehouse, and structure/transform it into a plain table. From there, I created a Power BI report. If Power Query and DAX aren’t your tools of choice, you can achieve the same result using SQL and the free version of Metabase—or even Excel.

You can also get the data from https://justabout.com/activity/earnings page source code, and hang a crone to do it daily/weekly.

my year in elite

it was a good year, a 2 year bgs war i was fighting on my own against a medium sized squad, came to a conclusion, (30 on inara, but pfft, 10 maybe) with the offending faction succeeding to my demands that they leave my old squad's home system, in return for me ceasing my constant attacks on their bgs,

i formed a good relationship with another squad who are honest and forthright, so i gave them the system, i base myself loosely in one of their systems with multiple hazres, and hunt pirates for bv's for them, placing them in nominated systems to bolster their inf, travel to their systems in war, and defeat their enemies, (i feel just as at home in a CZ as hazres), that's my bgs work

with the changes to engineering in the game, i have a renewed love for building ships and experimenting with engineering, previously it was a tedious, frustrating grind with no idea how many mats you'd need on the upgrades, the mandalay and python mk2 are excellent combat ships, and it was a rewarding grind to g5 them and test different weapons and engineering on them,

never did powerplay, (except for prismatics and packhounds) so that grind expanding 5x doesn't bother me, had no interest anyway, still got 6 pairs of packhounds unengineered waiting for ships, and only need priso's for my hardcore combat ships, and bought lots and lots when i did do it, most of the powerplay weapons you can engineer yourself and get better results anyway, lol cytoscramblers are just burst lasers with scrambled spectrum experimental effect, i prefer long range, and if you engineer them yourself, you can go huge on a large ship, not the tiny ones on offer for the grind

the thargoid episode irritated me a bit, did that 8 or more years ago last time the thargoid thing was pushed, but to each their own, thargoids can be done anytime you want to FSS mia, and a half dozen other systems, they never went away, perhaps the ax community might finish the first job when this is over?

Just about would have to be a high point of the year, just imagine a site where you get rewarded for sharing vids, knowledge, views and generally?, well now i don't have to imagine, Just About is in a league of it's own, nothing like it anywhere, 07

side track: i was informed IRL that my youngest daughter is expecting my 10th grandchild, :) and that's what it's about really, grandchildren are a joy, (you can hand them back after spoiling them) ;)

have fun 07

DU

Unfortunately I haven't spent a year on Just About, I've only been experimenting with the platform for a few months, I didn't know it and it was a friend who recommended it, frankly I thought it was the usual scam, but instead I changed my mind and I have to say that beyond possible earnings, it's fun to try new daily or weekly challenges, discover the creativity of other users and believe it's the ideal place to put your own on display. With Critter Cafè, for example, I had a lot of fun taking part in every challenge proposed, putting my creativity and the time available into play, discovering how each of us is original in our own way. I have no photos or videos to share, apart from those already posted in the various challenges, but I can say one thing, I will certainly continue to use the platform both for the rewards and for personal sharing.
