Did you know that Just has a Discord server? Probably not. Until now it’s been an invite-only space for a few highly active members to share feedback about the development of the platform.
Today, that changes. Our server has been rebuilt and is now open to all, though you folks are, naturally, first to know. Come on in and take a look.
What’s behind this change?
Well, the discussion feature here on Just doesn’t see a ton of use right now, but our Discord server is pretty active even with a small group. Meanwhile, we’re continuing to rebuild Just to put our rewards, and your content, at the very heart of the platform.
In line with these trends, we expect that shifting discussions to Discord will generate more of them and help you all get to know each other, while allowing us to focus on creating the best possible rewards experience on Just.
We’re working on an update now that’ll take the next steps in this direction. It will remove the ability to create new discussions, but all your existing threads and discussions will still exist, and you’ll still be able to leave replies and reactions on each other’s submissions. In fact, this next update is all about your submissions, and giving them the celebratory spotlight they deserve.
As a final plus, Discord - like Just - grew out of gamer culture, and is well-understood by our audience. Our server can become a handy public entry point to Just, where curious newcomers can learn more about the platform from real members (that’s you!).
You can join our Discord server by hitting that link. Come say hi! And please forgive any teething issues 🙏
