Just About has been live since June 2023. We’ve learned a lot since then.
We’ve seen which aspects of the platform you’re responding to, and we’ve sharpened our understanding of what our brand partners need.
The one-word answer? Rewards. And while rewards have always been central to Just About, their current placement on the platform doesn’t reflect that. That’s about to change.
Tomorrow, we’re going to launch a rebrand. It’ll feature a sleek new look, and an overhauled platform experience that puts our rewards and your content squarely in the spotlight. It’ll also feature a new name.
From tomorrow, we are Just. We reward grassroots creators.

The platform, rearranged
You’ll still be able to do and enjoy everything that currently exists on Just About, but it’ll be rearranged.
There will be a new homepage consisting of several reward racks.
These racks will surface rewards by deadline, algorithmic interest, and the communities you’ve joined, and can be expanded to show more rewards in one place.
With so many rewards now on the platform, discoverability has become a problem, and this is our solution. No more missing opportunities to earn!
The current homepage and its community experience will still be available via a new tab in the nav bar: ‘feed’.
That’s all that’s changing tomorrow, but the platform overhaul will continue to roll out piecemeal. Future deployments will rearrange reward pages themselves to give new prominence to your submissions, while separating them more neatly from the community discussion.
Rewards, refocused
These changes reflect a sharper understanding about the value that we offer, both to you and to our brand partners, but that understanding goes deeper than the rebrand. Our thinking is also shifting around reward design.
You’re going to see more rewards with a visual element - more videos and images - and more rewards with high prizes for wild creations like critter-shaped cakes and 3D models of spaceships.
We’ve been blown away by your response to rewards like these, and we want to see how far we can push them. They offer a ton of scope for you to show off your creativity, and our brand partners absolutely love them. This is something that is only happening on Just, which gives us something unique when speaking to potential partners, and the more of them we sign, the more opportunities for you to earn - and the greater likelihood we bag one of your favourite games to do it in!
As a bonus, these rewards are much more difficult for folks to enter with AI-generated content. Even when it comes to the quickfire text rewards that are so good at generating discussion, many of these can be adapted to include a visual element. For instance: an idea that might’ve been as simple as ‘Tell us your favourite farming equipment’ has already become ‘Create an ode to and a picture of your favourite farming equipment’, with a higher prize to reflect the added effort.
Organic Rewards, retired
In what will probably be less welcome news, we’ve decided to retire Organic Rewards. We’re sad to see them go, but there’s been limited evidence that they drive more/better engagement, or that they were an essential part of the Just experience for many of you. On the plus side, this means more money to fund the reward pots across all our communities and Spaces!
We’re taking the opportunity of this rebrand and this new focus on rewards to reignite conversations with potential new partners, and now that we’re well into the new year, business is picking up. You can expect new announcements before too long, and for this rebrand to bring even more into our pipeline.
