Hi everyone
As we look to grow the platform we’ve been thinking about the best route ahead for our general-interest topics, also called ‘Spaces’.
We love these places because they cover entire hobbies, like Music and Sport. They don’t depend on knowing a game super well, and thus can bring members from across all our partnered topics to meet, create, and share in easily accessible rewards.
However we’re concerned that by splitting them into different topic areas, we're splitting their members, too, and may be undermining that key attribute.
Therefore, tomorrow, we’re going to put out a platform update to consolidate these Spaces into two.
Just Create

This is the new name for this Space, formerly Just Just, and reflects an expanded remit. New members will continue to be auto-enrolled here, and it’s where you’ll find platform announcements (like this one!) with which we aim to reach the whole membership. It’s your hub, your base… but it’s about to get a lot busier.
Most of the old Spaces are effectively being consolidated here. At any given time you’ll find a nice, mixed collection of rewards covering Sport, Tech, Music, Books & Comics, and TV & Film.
Just Create's new name reflects the ongoing importance of creators on our platform, and we'll continue to run rewards to support, celebrate, and develop your skills, as we do/did on our Content Creators Space. Classic formats like Members’ Corner will also return, alongside experimental new rewards, some of which might ask you to help promote the platform (participation in which is entirely voluntary, of course).
Just Video Games...

…will continue largely as it always has. Pretty much everyone on Just is a gamer, and it makes sense to have a topic area dedicated to gaming rewards. Our Minecraft and Pokémon topics are going away, but we’ll run occasional rewards on those and other big games here, as well as occasional partnered campaigns that fall below the scope of getting a full topic area.
Speaking of which, a number of our partnered campaigns are coming to an end. We continue to work with Secret Mode on Empyreal, but the Wobbledogs and Critter Café campaigns have run their course, as has our SMITE 2 campaign with Hi-Rez. As such, those topics will be hidden from the nav and the homepage racks, but all your content remains live and accessible via its URL.
These changes may appear to have a big impact on the front end of the platform, but it’s really just a bit of spring cleaning. As you’ll see when the changes take effect tomorrow, alongside a slew of new rewards to celebrate the launch, you’re going to see plenty of the same old Spaces rewards in Just Create, with a lot more room freed up for brand-new partnerships like Blades of Fire…
…and plenty more coming soon!
