The Neverending Story tells of a boy who could be any of us and who is going through a difficult time; his mother has died, and he is left alone with his father. He is chased every day by bullies and is not doing well at school. His only hobby is books, and it is precisely by entering a bookstore that everything begins. The protagonist steals 'The Neverending Story' and begins to read it, becoming passionate about the tale of the land of Fantasia and its inhabitants, just as we become engrossed in reading his story. Michael Ende creates a book that is a paradox and reflects the reality known to every reading enthusiast: while you read the story, you live it. Within his narrative, there are many lessons, all seemingly simple and accessible to everyone, yet also profound. A book that accompanied my childhood... nothing compared to the film, which only produced a beautiful soundtrack. A book that is timeless.

There are numerous copies of the book with very beautiful graphics, featuring illustrations at each chapter and written not with the usual black ink but with red, green, or gray depending on who lives and sees that part of history. There are wonderful copies bound in leather with even metallic AURIN on the cover. A must-collect! ...
