As I was rewatching video fragments from Love Parade 1996, a realization struck me -what a time it was! No one carried smartphones or any other tech. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the people around them, truly living in the moment.

Today's life at such events feels more like watching a stream rather than being there. Even while standing in line for the restrooms, people aren't talking or sharing their joy and emotions; instead, they're checking emails and refreshing social media feeds.

ngl I thought if you're going with the Cranberries it'd be Zombie.

But this is a new banger so thanks for sharing

Great shout Murray. Oh wow CDs are only 700mb big? That's about 10-15 songs to encapsulate the 90's.

I'd say this is more 00's but colour me surprised to see it actually made it's debut in 1996! Incredibly impressive considering the music video

I would also say the sound of the '90's for me would be American Grunge so Nirvana and Pearl Jam but I'd let someone else recommend those haha

This song, along with Livin' La Vida Loca, were demo tracks on the Yamaha keyboard my dad bought for his early midlife crisis.
