My favorite album in the entire world is actually a remix album: Reanimation by Linkin Park.

They remixed their own songs from Hybrid Theory, put a dark spin on almost all of them, and invited guests that introduced me to hip-hop. This album defined my music taste and I still absolutely love it.

If you want a taste, you can check out the last song on the album which is a new version of Crawling. The entire song is transformed. If I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life, it would be this one.

The Grey Album by Danger Mouse is one of my all-time favorite albums. It's a mash-up of Jay-Z's Black Album and The Beatles White Album. It goes together so unbelievably well and is fantastic. The original album release was 3000 CDs and then EMI went all "stop that" and all official releases were stopped. You can find some very high-quality downloads online for free.

Danger Mouse is so awesome. I absolutely love the album he did with MF DOOM, and his work on Demon Days was great too.

I also thought it was fun how when there was some sort of copyright dispute with the label over the album he did with Sparklehorse, Dark Night of the Soul, they decided to release the album as a blank CD-R while the album mysteriously leaked online

I love the original and I love the remix even more, my choice is 'Seven Nation Army' (The Glitch Mob Remix).

It took a classic song and turned it into another banger, it's used in the Battlefield 1 trailer and it's so hypy. I remember hearing it for the first time and getting so excited, great game too, the single player was one of the best I've ever played.

Gotta give it to Jay Z’s remix of Bobby Blue Bland’s Ain’t No Love in the Heart of the City.

I hadn’t heard the original and I first heard THIS song in trailers for American Gangster. Eventually I found out it was a sample situation and listened to the original, loving it of course.

I don't often listen to remixes or electronic music in general, but there are a few songs from DJs I like to listen to in party mixes. This is one of them:

If you wanna talk about remixes, the best one has got to be apologised with Timbaland and OneRepublic the fact that the remix is more popular than the original kind of says everything that you need to about this bounty.

I’ve seen one and I remember when they played apologise and I was waiting for all the ad from Timbaland because it was so stuck in my head but yeah, as remixes girl I don’t think anyone’s even been able to touch the way that this had everyone on a chokehold and still does!

This remix was so good, the classical folk instrumental mix with beat is very awsome.

First time I listen this song feel like back to the past

I will be submitting said video, because it takes one the greatest rappers to ever grace this earth and add's in some seriously good EDM style music on top and god damn, it works so well.

Daft punk "One More Time"

Is notable for its heavy use of sampling. The track prominently features a sample from "More Spell on You" by Eddie Johns, a lesser-known song from the 1970s. The sample forms the basis for the track's distinctive sound, though it is manipulated and reworked in a way that creates a new and unique piece of music.

which is actually a sample from:

Not enough love is given to Girl Talk. He remixes some of the best pop songs into full albums, taking samples and remixes into an amazing boiling pot of greatness.

A snippet would be on Give me a Beat around the 3:29 mark where he remixes AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted by Ice Cube and Hot Chocolate – "Every 1's a Winner" and it's beautiful!

Okay, don't laugh, but the Unravel/Billie Jean remix is strangely good, and I found it all because of a dumb singing cockroach short. I've listened that cockroach short more times than I care to admit and the full version quite a feel times.

here is the copied proof its a remix and contains samples. always liked this song from a guitar perspective.

“Thugz Mansion” by 2Pac is both a remix and contains samples.

Original Version: The original version of “Thugz Mansion” appears on 2Pac’s posthumous album “Better Dayz” (2002). It features Anthony Hamilton and is produced by Johnny “J” and 7 Aurelius1.

Remixes and Covers:

Nas Acoustic Remix: Nas created an acoustic remix as a tribute to 2Pac. This version features J. Phoenix alongside Nas and 2Pac2.

7 Remix: There’s also a “7 Remix” of “Thugz Mansion” on the same album, which is another variation of the song1.

Other Artists: Various artists have covered or remixed “Thugz Mansion,” including Justin Bieber, Mozzy, and Bugzy Malone & Emeli Sandé

NWA- Express Yourself

This is one of my favourite samples and is such an under-rated song!

Samples have been used from this in many a song since and whenever i hear them it always makes me come back to the original to listen to.

NSFW/Explicit content warning on this one, very strong language

Being a MASSIVE daft Punk fan, they were literally one of the soundtracks to my childhood and I had all their albums, this Encore from their live tour in 2007, which strangely isn't featured on the CD for the concert is just mind blowing as it mixes 4 Songs (Human After All / Together / One More Time / Music Sounds Better with You) which Thomas Bangalter (the tall robot in daft punk who is mixing this magic in the video) worked on as a Solo artist or with other performers and as a part of Daft Punk. Just stick with it as its a slow burn upto the half way part of the video where the magic really starts to unfold. Really hope they make a return someday as I would LOVE to see them live. Anyway's my fellow robots, enjoy!

I have honestly listened to this about 10000 times and it never gets old, when the beat drops its just incredible!
