Hard riffs for the Bad Omens adjacent fans out there. I'm a particular fan of heavier music with mostly clean vocals, accented with the odd scream here and there. Staggering how these aren't more popular, but I only just heard them for the first time on Saturday.

I recently discover this artist while I was browsing on Music Tik Tok, her name is Morgan Clae and let me tell you, I haven’t heard a voice so full of passion, harmony, emotion and strength in my life, taking out of course Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera, but anyways, she is amazing. Morgan Clae is an extraordinary artist whose music transports listeners to a world of fantasy, adventure, and love. Her unique fusion of EDM with her ethereal, captivating voice creates an otherworldly experience that resonates deeply with her audience. Each song is a journey, infused with raw emotion and creativity, drawing people in and making them feel every beat and lyric. The ability she has to blend electronic rhythms with her vocal style is mesmerizing, her creativity shines through in every track, leaving you with a lasting impact, and it’s really magical and amazing! She should be more supported.

This is the Trailer Song of the AFK Journey game, when I got the Endorsement of the AFK Journey game and I was very interested in the lyrics and tone of the song Colm R. McGuinness, Cody Matthew Johnson - Edge Of The World (ft. Lauren Babic) which really feels like entering the Medieval World which is very identical to RPG games and until now I often play it

Alison Wonderland

I have been a fan of EDM since forever it really shocked me that I've never heard of Alison Wonderland given how long she has been in the EDM scene. This was the first song I discovered just recently. Its funny that no recommendation from spotify or youtube has ever recommended this to me. The reason I discovered her was because she did a couple of Djing turorials which I stumbled upon while researching on the subject. I am instantly a fan. Can't stop listening to it and recreating the song for myself in Ableton for learning.

Ekaterina Shelehova

I've discovered about her in a video in Instagram where the song bellow was playing in the background and I searched more about her and her songs and was a really good surprise for me, I felt in love with her songs especially this one.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/tegev08KyHY?feature=oembed

Ekaterina sings a lot of songs in the same style some more resents like the Savage Daughter other a little older like the song bellow, My Mother Told Me, that is a old poem of the viking time translated to English.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/3c8LeaEj1lc?feature=oembed

She gave a real good voice that fit perfectly to those songs a melodic sing with a reverb in her that that remind old rituals, a touch of magical and mystical!

Layrus Loop

My partner showed me a video of them busking in Japan and they sounded amazing. This song particularly capturing that 80's city pop beat mixed in with some ska melody really resonates with me. I love that they're a three piece, and a lady on bass is always awesome.

They are stil pretty small time considering they were busking on a busy Osaka street so I wish them the best and hopefully they'll get a larger following in the west.

This song is sampling a Tunisian folk song, "Sidi Mansour." I only learned about Karpe yesterday, but this song just makes me feel so joyful. Kinda hard to listen to and not want to jump out of your seat at and throw your hands up. This specific song is the name of a URL for a foundation they set up to raise money for asylum seekers and refugees around the world.

Mz. Lime Dime - Clarity (Prod. by Lime Life Beats)

Mz. Lime Dime is an independent rap artist with a unique personality. Her music captures true emotion and scenarios. For example, she uses her vocals as instruments to showcase a new wave of music that encapsulates theatrical experiences and vibes within each song. Her music is not just music, they are her life experiences told from multiple perspectives.

Mz. Lime Dime is an amazing artist because she is going to change the game of music with her ability to think outside of the music box. Mz. Lime Dime is not only an independent rap artist; she is a gamer, beatmaker, motivator, and entrepreneur.

Mz. Lime Dime's music is forever evolving and one day Mz. Lime Dime will be Destine To Fly.

Zaid Tabani is a rapper/hip-hop artist that I first heard on the soundtrack to Red Vs Blue season 10. At the time my musical tastes were along the lines of 'rock/metal or nothing,' but his verse on the song Pray really got to me.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/OsloVPOLj34?feature=oembed

But he kinda fell from my mind afterwards. Then during the lockdown he popped up for me again thanks to his involvement in a collaboration where singers, musicians, voice actors, and rappers all teamed up for a performance of The Real Folk Blues from Cowboy Bebop.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/8GwE0wwMmKE?feature=oembed

I stayed a bit more aware of him after that, but it wasn't until earlier this year when I got into fighting games that I'd say I fully 'discovered him. Tabani is big in the fighting game community, and actually is a huge part of creating the official soundtrack for Evo. After watching the event, I got kind of obsessed with those songs, and they've been my go-to tracks for months now when I need to hype up or just lose myself in some music.

Ronnie Radke/Falling in reverse.

I was familiar with this band for a while but never really looked into the music after a bunch of controversey surrouding him but I decided one day recent to binge listen/watch their music videos. This was an insane surprise to see the range of music they create and really made me appreciate how talented Ronnie is with the different genres he does. I would recommend anyone who hasn't listened to their stuff to go ahead and do so.

Mac Glocky popped up in my recommendations because I was listening to some Disturbed on YouTube and WOW. That David Draiman replication is incredible, as is his ability to emulate the instrumental conventions.

I ended up going down a rabbit hole of just about everything he’s made. These two are my favorites.

Niki or Nicole Zefanya, I've recently been liking songs from this singer from Indonesia.

I first got to know Niki from her work entitled "Take a Chance with Me" on TikTok.

When I first heard this song I fell in love with the instrument.

Apart from that, I also like Niki's other works, namely "La La Lost You" and many more.

I think Niki's instruments are calming and nice to listen to before bed.

Recently I, like many other have been getting really in to the Epic saga, based off Greek Mythology and written by Jorge Rivera-Herrans. It gathered a huge following on tiktok and became known worldwide through trending sounds, which helped it to find its dedicated fan base.

Now with the recent re-recording of the tracks (to allow the artists a share of what they are giving their voice too), I have become obsessed all over again.

On top of that he seems just like an all round fun personality and comedic guy. I’d strongly recommend giving him a follow and checking out the saga.

The late Dominican radio and television host Federico Atswood used to say that jazz is "the music of musicians."

Stella Cole fits this premise perfectly; her voice is a gem of our time, encapsulated within an increasingly distant genre.

I don’t intend to clash with the times we live in, so here I share with you a well-known song wonderfully adapted by her voice:

Song: NEXUS

Artist: 澤野弘之 / SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] (945k subs)

I first heard both this song and artist about a week ago, when I was listening to music and forgot to turn off auto-play. Instantly hooked. This song has a huge amount of energy, and I slammed this song onto my running playlist immediately.
I listened to a bunch of Sawano Hiroyuki after hearing NEXUS. He has huge talent in music production, and almost all of his tracks are high energy and incredibly dynamic, while being both clear and musically complex. Currently going through every song of his, and even if they aren't my typically favorite genres, every single one is a banger. His music videos also have dynamic cinematography, mostly focused on the musicians themselves.

I'm used to Amanda Achen singing these songs, so when I heard the new voice I had to check it out. Her name is Chrissy Constanza, and this song from her is right down my alley, loving the transitions from the more powerful parts to the smooth vocals.

Ever since I was a kid, I've always been a fan of the Shrek movies and I thought their soundtrack was amazing, there's not a bad song in it! So recently I went to watch it again and started looking at the lyrics and discovered some songs by the band Smash Mouth. I saw that they're better known than I thought and I became a fan through the songs in the movie! My favorite songs are All Star and I'm A Believer.

Gabriels

I am extremely eclectic and end up finding “hidden” gems (at least for me). The most recent gem I discovered was “Gabriels”, a band that struck me as a mixture of soul, gospel and jazz. It really gave me the idea of listening to music that was older and at the same time up-to-date.

Jacob Collier

He's not exactly new to the scene, having come up through the ranks, but he's a rising star in terms of mainstream recognition for his intricate harmonies, and musical virtuosity. Out of this world is Collier's ability to merge jazz, classical, R&B, and electronic music. Many times he plays numerous instruments and self-arranges his tracks with layers of vocal harmonies that feel incredibly rich.

One of the most famous is "In My Room", a cover of the classic by the Beach Boys, which he had totally reinvented. Another outstanding track is "All I Need", which shows his skill in fusing genres into an engagingly sophisticated rhythmic and melodic construction. What really sets Jacob apart is how he innovates music theory and can push boundaries without ever losing emotional connection.

One of my favorites:

He approaches music almost like an inventor, in constant experimentation. If you love a original style of music, he's definitely someone to look at.

This month’s discovery isn’t just one, but a 2-in-1!

It all started with the absolutely stunning animation Arcane - if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it. Along with the breathtaking visuals, the series features incredible soundtracks. While digging through the music, I found several well-established musicians, but one track in particular stood out: Snakes, performed by Pvris and a famous guitarist and singer from Japan, Miyavi.

As I explored more of their work, I realized I really enjoy both artists’ music. So, here’s the official video for the track that opened my eyes:

I’ve recently discovered someone called Supergold. He would constantly come up for me on TikTok and I thought his songs are amazing. He really speaks directly to what is happening in the world.

The song I have linked is called Pastimes. he speaks directly to the American government with this song talking about the genocide but the vibes of his songs are very old school Bruce Springsteen vibes.
