The best one i can share at this moment is from Pokemon Go.

If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping it's a sure sign that one of these Pokémon is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrills.

This has to do a good one imagine a magikarp jumping over a mountain and the added part about the move still being useless makes it even funnier

A Magikarp living for many years can leap a mountain using Splash. The move remains useless, though.

Magikarp is a pathetic excuse for a Pokémon that is only capable of flopping and splashing. This behavior prompted scientists to undertake research into it.

Most of Rhyhorn's Dex entries are pretty funny

my favourite would be ruby's dex entry : "Rhyhorn runs in a straight line, smashing everything in its path. It is not bothered even if it rushes headlong into a block of steel. This Pokémon may feel some pain from the collision the next day, however."

It's lack of awareness is one thing, but the idea of a delayed reaction is quite something. It's a tough pokemon that's for sure.

other entries :

Sapphire : Rhyhorn's brain is very small. It is so dense, while on a run it forgets why it started running in the first place. It apparently remembers sometimes if it demolishes something.

D/P : Its body is clad in a thick hide, and its tackles topple buildings. Unfortunately, it is not smart.

Shield : It can remember only one thing at a time. Once it starts rushing, it forgets why it started.

I’m thinking about funny less in the sense of the content of the Pokédex entry but the nature of an entire species having the exact same tragic backstory.

My favourite Pokémon is Cubone and I love him but his Pokédex entry is “When the memory of its departed mother brings it to tears, its cries echo mournfully within the skull it wears on its head.” Which implies that every single one faces the loss of its mother and wears her skull.

In a way like Spiderman, who will always lose Uncle Ben (or equivalent). It’s just a little funny to think about when you truly think about the logistics of each Pokémon having multiple versions 😂

According to Pokemon FireRed, Magikarp is 'virtually worthless in terms of both power and speed. It is the most weak and pathetic Pokémon in the world'.

Poor pokemon, is really doesn't have a very good rep. Worth the aggro of it's pointlessness when evolved though!

May I plead my case for Cramorant:

When I was first saw the Dex Entry on Pokémon Sword I did find it funny 😭

Here is the Sword Entry (Gorging Form):

"This Cramorant has accidentally gotten a Pikachu lodged in its gullet. Cramorant is choking a little, but it isn't really bothered."

I once saw Cramorant with a Pikachu in it's mouth and they were totally unbothered but they did do quite a bit of damage to my Cinderace 💀

Porygon2's Pokemon Gold Pokedex entry:

This upgraded version of Porygon is designed for space exploration. It can't fly, though.

I love this entry because its the most basic explanation of this pokemon. It's the upgraded version of the previous evolution, and the reason it was created.

The last bit seemed like an after thought though. Like the scientist writing the entry was about to clock off for lunch and found that what they had written to be lacking so threw in a line to meet some minimum quota.
It does baffle me as well that a Pokemon designed for space exploration cannot fly.. like how is it supposed to 'explore' if it cannot move through space..

Hey Makster, thanks for entering. You're right, that is an excellent Pokedex entry. I've always had a soft spot for Porygon2 because it's just Porygon but aerodynamic.

Unfortunately, I've had to reject you for this bounty in line with the criteria we set in the description. We needed a link to the Bulbapedia page (or Serebii, or an in-game screenshot of the Pokedex entry to validate it). I know it may seem harsh because your entry was otherwise great, but as the only entry to this bounty that didn't include one of those, it just misses out I'm afraid. There'll likely be another Pokedex entry-themed bounty coming up soon though, so there'll be more opportunities for similar entries! ✌
