Mine is an artist called Neon Gauntlets who creates these epic drawings in a cool grunge style. It changed the overall look of the Pokemon and attached a sort of, dark and brooding feel to them.

I love how the shots are always in action, and using elements to create movement is so sick. The use of blurred objects to show motion and speed - it’s incredibly done

This is by Mike 'Gabe' Krahulik from Penny Arcade

He used to run an artblog on blogspot (no idea whether this is stil functional) and he threw up his sketches and doodles. This was one of the pieces he did when he was going through Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and it looked awesome!
