Super simple

Sport with Drugs Let them take the stuff, let them go beyond human possibility. I don't care if it damages them. As said other people have other quests. And i dare you to bother me within my quest line.

Imagine under roids you run the 100 Meter in 7 Seconds or whatever. This would be so awesome and gives us the option of real true space marines if we than actually need them.

The slightly scary thing is this has a real possibility of happening. Some big names are already signed up.

Removing VAR from football.

It has it's advantages and disadvantages like many things. But since this system has been added I think I speak for many football fans that this has taken the fun and excitment out of the game, even for the players. The idea of scoring a goal and having to wait 5 minutes to find out whether you've scored of not truly must not be enjoyable from a playing persepective let alone a watching one. This is one example of VAR, but definitely one that I think removes my love and passion for the sport.

I knew we'd get a VAR suggestion before too long! It's the obvious answer, right? I think the idea is right, but they need to go back to the drawing board and re-evaluate exactly how they assess decisions. The waiting period to check whether a goal is offside by the width of a hair, especially when they're pondering it for a few mins and then they call the ref over to the monitor to have a look and you have to keep waiting totally takes the momentum out of the game.

Thanks for this opportunity!

I've had this idea for a while: UCI should ban personal bikes in parts of the Tour de France, and instead have all athletes ride identical, standard rental bikes. Here’s why:

  • These bikes are heavier, less aerodynamic, and have limited gear shifts compared to sport bikes. This means a slower peloton, reducing the severity of any crashes – believe me, falling at 45km/h is no joke.

  • Everyone on the same bike levels the playing field. It becomes a true test of fitness, strategy, teamwork, and skill.

  • And imagine the fun! We could see riders like Peter Sagan in a tweed jacket and tie, competing not just for speed but style points too. It would add a hilarious twist to the race.

  • There is plenty of space for ads, a bonus for sponsors!

rocket powered propulsion allowed in the Tour de France.

For this one, I will target the football side of things!

Remove "off-side" from football - I think it would be hilarious. Players just running where they want period, no more having to wait or watch etc. Plus I think it would produce a much more fluid game.

Another plus is less overtime xD

i’d quite like to have F1 and single seater racing without the need for DRS (drag reduction system). If your unfamiliar with it, when the following car is within a second of the car in front on certain sections of the race track, they’re allowed to open a flap in the rear wing to boost straight line speed via aerodynamics.

The problem is sometimes it works too well and there’s nothing that the lead car can do to defend. I’d much rather see a battle for position than just an easy overtake but I do appreciate that due to the complex aerodynamics of the cars that they lose performance when following another car. It’s a tough problem to solve unfortunately.

I definitely agree in principle, I think the only problem we'd then have is that there basically wouldn't be any overtakes at all. Despite the Red Bull clearly being the best, while Alpine/Williams/Kick are competing for the worst on the grid this season, there is still only a second or so in qualifying time between them, so no DRS in a race would mean there aren't straights long enough (except maybe Baku!) to get enough slipstream, especially with the dirty air. DRS does need a rework in principle though, or maybe simply an alternative solution. I'm no Adrian Newey though so I'll leave it to the experts to figure out!

My suggestion would be a Dunce hat for 10 minutes for any footballer penalised for simulation during a match. After 10 minutes the gat comes off or if another player is penalised within the 10 minutes then it passes straight to them.

With footballers being very worried about their appearance, maybe it will help reduce the blight of diving on the beautiful game!

That would have the added benefit(?) of preventing them from heading the ball too, so it would very slightly cut down on head injuries and concussions!

JB

That's a good point! A change to stop heading would make a really interesting change in itself and would definitely require some major play style changes, especially for the teams that historically use the aerial game as a big part of their style eg Stoke City they are struggling this season as is, that sort of rule change could finish them off!

In the NBA rule number 5 section VI should be altered to remove mandatory timeouts. mandatory timeouts were implemented as a way of ensuring time for a commercial break during the broadcast of NBA games. While I understand the financial need, these types of timeouts in general are a huge intrusion into the game and remove a great deal of flexibility and tactical thinking.

Normal timeouts are 1 minute 15 seconds while during a nationally televised game, the mandatory timeout is 3 minutes 15 seconds. Compared to college ball the NBA already has too many breaks. Of course, you get to see star athletes play longer due to the pacing and more rest, but the flow of the game is greatly interrupted. With 30-second timeouts gone, it feels as if I'm constantly watching sideshows like the lady who spins plates or some 90's rap group when I'm at the stadium rather than a basketball game.

I go to games to watch basketball, yet the current mandatory timeout rule is starting the slide of making the NBA more like WWE.

I would change the offside rule in football. The player who receives the ball to be offside should be completely in front of the last defender, this would increase the spectacle and prevent seeing goals disallowed for millimetric offsides.

Key points:

Proposed change to offside rule

The player receiving the ball should be completely in front of the last defender to be considered offside, rather than the current rule where any part of the body in front of the defender is offside.

Benefits of the proposed change

  1. Increased spectacle: This would allow for more goals and exciting attacking play, as fewer goals would be disallowed for tight offside calls.

  2. Avoid disallowed "millimetric" offsides: The current rule leads to many goals being ruled out due to marginal offside positions, which can be frustrating for fans. The proposed change would eliminate these types of decisions.

Overall, this change could make the game more entertaining and reduce controversial offside calls, while still maintaining the core principle of the offside rule.

A rule I would change is playing advantage after a foul in football.

At the moment the referee could play advantage and a second later that team loses the ball and the game carries on. My change would be to have a set time where the referee can bring the play back if the fouled team lose the ball. There could be a caveat where if the fouled team kick the ball out of play themselves the advantage would be lost.

A second rule I would like changing in football would be to bring across Rugby's penalty try. This is when a team would definitely score but something happened (like a hand ball on the line) to stop the ball crossing the line. At the moment it creates a penalty but the problem with that is the penalty could be saved whereas the initial chance couldn't. The example I will use is Luis Suarez in the world cup hand balled on purpose to stop the goal knowing he would get sent off but giving his team a chance to save the penalty, the opposition ending up missing the penalty and Luis Suarez was the hero.

Extreme Golf - is the way to go!

So Golf against the clock plus much MUCH more!

What this looks like...

1 - You are against the clock to hit your ball when you arrive at it, you have 10 seconds once you pick your club.

2 - The whole round is against the clock and scored, you get more points the quicker you finish, so you need to sprint to your ball after each shot and to each hole, no slowly walking to the next tee off.

3 - Also you must carry your golf clubs in a spacial bag on your back which allows you to sprint full out!

4 - The games take place during extreme weather so in the desert, in snow etc

This would be super interesting, fun and survival of the fittest!
